Fairly quiet road for overnight parking in downtown Ensenada. Free. Safe.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Very safe location in the city center. Well lit, squeezed between the Museum of Science and Cruise Harbor, adjacent to the harbor's security guards booths. It gets busy on the weekends as local buses use this back alley as dropoff/pickup location for hundreds of locals visiting Ensenada
Report Check-InQuite and safe place close to the Centre of the town. Was here for one day and one night, was not the only one.
Report Check-InI stayed here for two nights 12/13 and 12/14. Pretty much as described. It felt safe and no one bothered me or inquired about me being there. Can be noisy in the early evening from people partying at the restaurant and I think there is some kind of convention center on the other side of the lot. Anyway, the noise and music seems to die down by 11:00 pm. After that it’s just the usual city street noise, but not bad. I would stay there again, but might look around for a better spot if I have occasion to stay in Ensenada again. There was an open dumpster which I used to get rid of a small bag of trash.
Report Check-Innous avons passé notre première nuit au Mexique ici, super safe. pas de bruit la nuit, peu de véhicules sur le parking.
vraiment top.
Slept here for a night, seems like the local spot to hangout for couples or younger people. Lot of people chillin in their cars looking at the cruise ships. Definitely quiets down after 8pm and emptys out at night until the morning. Skated up the the 7/11 on the main road for my morning coffee, overall a chill spot and would stay here again.
Report Check-InThe restaurant at the motel Corona ,has a fabulous restaurant ,Los Veleros i treated myself as to be grateful for parking here , i spent roughly 270 pesos for an amazing omelette , a meatpie was starters , salsa was amazing
Report Check-InUpdate: ended up sleeping here for four nights and absolutely nothing weird happened. No knocks on my door, nothing weird to report. It is safe.
Report Check-InSlept here last night and felt safe. Went to a bar and left the rig with the dogs. Im in a 23 feet camper. “Tourist police” showed up a couple of times and waved. Its pretty quiet, hostess from the bar said its supposedly safe. Wifi reaches the parking spot.
Report Check-InSurprisingly quiet on a Saturday night given it's proximity to downtown. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and attractions. Occasional cruise ship horns were kind of peaceful. We felt safe and secure.
In the morning as we were walking our dog, a local woman ran up to us and warned us not to leave our surfboards locked to the roof. She said there are lots of break-ins and window smashes in town. We didn't feel any more at risk here than we do in any urban area. We've camped with our surfboards on the roof in La Paz, Cabo, Ensenada, San Diego, Todos Santos, Guerrero Negro , etc., and have never had a problem. However, we heeded the local advice and got out of there.
Report Check-Ingreat place for an overnight. I've been here many times before. there is a 7/11 on the corner. it's been safe and quiet.
Report Check-Inrelativly quite night for a city, lots of lights, felt safe, clean area, no scatchy people, cruise ship in habour, wifi from the bar (passwort inside to ask, nice people. slow)
Report Check-InOur friends Vanagon had a window smashed in the middle of the day, sometime between 1-3pm. Won’t be staying here again. We had 5 vans parked here and they broke into one of them.
Report Check-InChose this spot thanks to prior reviews. Obviously safe (it’s safer in Baja than San Diego), and quiet after 10pm. Thanks for the campsite! Was great to go out in town and walk back home after.
Report Check-InVery level, plenty of rrom, felt vary safe. We arrived just as the sun was setting and there was no issue finding a spot. Freat for one night!
Report Check-InCame in at 11 pm, Parked alongside another overland vehicle. Street was surprisingly quiet and clean. Park under /near the bright light. It feels like a dead end but theres a street that follows through the bend. Felt pretty safe. But i still chose to leave pretty early.
Report Check-InQuiet overnight parking. Other overlanders there when we stayed. The toilets at 7-Eleven were not working so we used the hotel bar bathroom without any problems. We stayed 3 nights from 7:00pm to 9:00am.
Report Check-InAppeared to be a great little spot to spend the night... that is until the marching band showed up at 8pm for their band practice. We ended up moving south to the Walmart because the horn section woke our sleeping babies!
Report Check-InA really good place to visit Ensenada. The Nissan Security does no more exist, but wie felt secure.
Report Check-InWe spent a very quiet night here, and felt safe. We saw police passing by a few times. I could use the 7/11 toilet in the morning.
Report Check-Inplace is as described. perfect for visiting Ensenada. couldnt be more in the center. Nissan security told us its a safe place and there is no problem to stay overnight. he even offered us to use the Nissan buildings toilet in the night, didnt need it though.
Report Check-InWas great, felt really safe. The Nissan Security came over and told us it was a safe place and we didnt have to worry hear at all. Slept well & not even sea lions disturbed us ;)
Report Check-InJust as people described - quiet place to spend the night. Very close to the downtown pubs/night life - took us about 10 minutes to walk to restaurants & bars. No issues when parked on this street & things were quiet.
Report Check-InIt was a quiet night, you can hear the sea lions, but not to loud.
free wifi near the bridge
Parked there all day and slept one night. Fairly quiet and close to town. Good spot for Ensenada.
Report Check-InQuiet place beside hotel. Safe place (cameras and hotels's guard). Free Wifi in "ventana al mar" ( walking for 2 blocks in the malecon).
