Description

English: Lovely and well maintened place by the river (where its possible to swim). With tables, bbq area, drinks (no alcohol) food options, swimming pool and wc. Open from 8 to 17 but when we came the owners stayed for dinner until around 7. We stopped by and asked if we could camp here, Yuma and her husband were very friendly and helpful and said no problem at all. Very safe, gates are closed at night and there are 3 dogs looking after the place. We could use water, light and electricity.
They let us camp and didnt ask us for anything, but we gave them what they usually cover for the entrance from local people (15 Q pp).
The most sympatic people we've met so far.

wonderful place and a great welcome here on semana santa. price is still 50 for two in a tent. Small shop for drinks and restaurant open.

Nice spot after long cycle. Swim in river or pool and rest by benches. 50Q for 2 people and tent for night. Bit noisy near road. Restaurant wasn’t open and no shop nearby.

We stayed here one night. It’s just a recreational area with some tables y bbq area. Bathrooms and “showers” were a bit dirty. Owner were super friendly . We were the only one there . Very quite but some noise coming from the trucks passing by. 50 Q night for two people and a dog. No WiFI.

Arrived 10-23 and it was closed. It looked really nice, so we were disappointed.

Report Check-In

We paid 50 quetzales to stay for one night for 2 persons, 2 bicycles and one tent.

Report Check-In

Nice place to stop before or after the border. We paid 50Q for which includes toilets, the entry fee for the pools and one overnight stay for 2 persons. Friendly people.

Good place to camp for any cyclist going to/coming from the Salvador border. Plenty of picnic tables for cooking and the pool water was clean when I arrived. The bathrooms are clean and the place in general is well mantained. They couldn't offer me any food so I suggest you bring your own, altough they gave me a cocount. Price is still Q15.

We drove all the way from San Pedro La Laguna so it was a nice break to enjoy the ‘green’ swimming pool. Watch peacock dance, enjoy the yummy mangoes from the garden. Sunday morning people started early as they were baptizing lots of people in the river side. We will slowly move closer to the border of El Salvador. Nice place to rest, toilets and bathrooms are there(just OK). We are using in the RV so no big deal ;-) good luck!

Basically a recreational area by the river with a swimming pool. Entrance 15 and 10 for kids. We didn't have to pay any extra to camp.

Beautiful place to stay the night.. they have a restaurant on side, picnic tables and BBQ pits. The bucket flush bathrooms are ok. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The prices are 15Q entrance per person and 20Q if you stay the night for your car. They have two entrances, use the one closer to the bridge, it is easier and paved. The first entrance coming from the west with a slight downgrade into the parking area.

Sadly no one was there when we showed up at 4:30pm on a Tuesday! The place looks really nice.

Also I got changed by geese so watch out!
