1000 pesos para passar com o carro. Perguntou se tínhamos frutas, não tínhamos. Pulverizam o carro
Report Check-InThey asked us if we had any fruit or vegetable but we didn't have any and they let us go through without looking inside the car. We paid 600 ARG. The guy was really nice. Apparently there are some fruits and vegetables that pose a bigger threat than others. I'll attach a photo of that list of fruits and vegetables. We did not have any meat in the car but they did not ask about it either, so not sure if that is a problem but it didn't seem like it.
Report Check-InGoing into Mendoza Province (heading north on Ruta 143), you will be checked for fruits, vegetables, etc. We showed the inspector our leftover lettuce and some green onions. We had very carefully made sure we consumed all potential problematic items before we got to this checkpoint. The inspector was satisfied and did not check inside our vehicle. You must also pay a fee (600 pesos) to drive through the fumigation spray.
Report Check-InJust asked if we had some meat, we said no, then he asked if he could take a look, we opened the fridge, he barely looked and said ok. The price now is $270 pesos for a Van.

Só perguntou se tínhamos carne, dissemos que não, aí ele perguntou se podia dar uma olhada, abrimos a geladeira, ele mal olhou e disse ok. O preço agora é de $ 270 pesos para uma Van.
Report Check-In120 pesos now, and you have to drive slowly over a thing that hoses off the car to disinfect any bugs from coming into this region

Report Check-InNo Problem there. we ate our fruit for lunch in San Isabel and passed him a Bowl with cores and grape strings. i showed him half a Lemon Out of the fridge, which he did not take. also onions were ok to Pass..they are mainly interested in fruits, to prevent fruit flys and other bugs from spreading arround the country...payed 60 for our Camper Van.
Report Check-InStopped and showed them our fridge, took a green pepper but not the cabbage, carrots or pumpkin. Checked one of our cupboards with coffee etc. Didn't show him our fruit and veg stash beneath the seats and he didn't check every cupboard. I think he was happy with one or two things. We're a 3tonne motor home and he charged us 60arg. Lovely guys.
Report Check-InCarrots, unions and pumpkin seem to be okay. Fruits was their main interest. We also had to pay 35 pesos and got sprayed with a desinfectant.
Report Check-InCompletely unclear why we have to hand over all the fruit we just bought in a little town before this checkpoint. Guy just said it is not allowed. A photo of the list of fruit and vegetables is attached. So be prepared.
