They no longer have camping. They have rooms though, not sure on the price. It is a beautiful property. The waterfall is still $5 per person. A little expensive but we enjoyed our afternoon here. It’s a beautiful falls. The drive out here is great on a moto 🤙🏻 stunning views, great turns.

We paid $20 for 2 people per night which included access to the waterfall (normally they charge $5 per person). There is now a cacao vivero where the camping should be so there is limited space now, see picture. We drive a Honda Element with low clearance and had no problem getting up to the camping spot. As stated before there is no shade and it’s hot during the day although we had a breeze which helped. We tried to hike the 2 senderos they have but could not find the trails. They want you to pay for a guide and actually access the trails from somewhere else. Beautiful spot and Maria is very nice. WiFi [Password removed by moderator.] if they won’t give it to you.

The receptionist said the camping was closed for works. We went away and luckily just encountered one of the older persons who said camping was possible. Camping will be remodelled and normally the price is 15usd pp now for camping. We negotiated 10 usd pp as the camping was not ready (according to their standards) yet and previous overlanders only paid 10 usd pp. Camping area is grass, there are some flat spots, water tap, showers and toilets, so ok for us. The view is great! The road up there is not difficult (rocky), but a bit steep, so not for a normal RV. We drive a G-camper 4 tons.

This place is gorgeous. The camping spot does not have a lot of shade so it can be pretty hot in the daytime but you also get a gorgeous view. We cooled off in the pool below the waterfall. They have a shower and a toilet in the camping area, but wifi is only accessible near the reception.

Report Check-In

Private and serene. Camping area not finished but staff is welcoming even brought us up soap, shampoo and towels to use. Restaurant is good. They have palapas you can hang out in Reception area.

The camping area is quite always uphill from Reception and restaurant and spa area are so are very private. There is a finished bathroom and cold shower up in camping area.

The road to the Villa is paved but the long driveway to both the Reception and camping area is not and is steep, curvy and narrow so would not want to try this path in the rainy season. Could be extremely muddy. Our truck camper made it with some slipping in the dry season. Not suitable for bigger rigs.

Wifi in reception area only.
