I am trying to email, but it keeps failing. What is your correct email address and phone number, please?

Report Check-In

Tepetapan RV park no longer accepts caravans.
Prices depends on size and number of people. In October it will be 3 years since a price increase. That will change due to electric, water and labor wages mandated.
If your travels are underfunded, email for prices.

Report Check-In

I guess we visited during the “off” season because the bathrooms and laundry area were pretty gross (ie rat droppings everywhere). Additionally, the pool and pool area wasn’t clean enough to use. Despite this, prices remained high at $300 pesos for our 22 footer.
There was some good shade though and the electricity and sani dump worked.

Report Check-In

We paid 300 peso per night for a 6m long RV. Electricity only available with 30 amps adapter. Showers, toilets, playground and pool not well maintained and a little dirty. 15 minutes walking into town, quiet at night except of some dogs in the neighborhood. WIFI fast but upload was not working for half a day. A lot of shadow.

Report Check-In

Nice, full service and wifi, walk to town, first Friday of March there is a big ceremony with the Chamans un this town, thing to see.

Report Check-In

It was to expensive for what you get. The bathroon is not clean, unfriendly staff.

Report Check-In

UPDATE... The pool will be open for the next couple months. Gates are almost always closed due to free range rabbits. Ring the bell at one of the gates, honk your horn, make some noise or better yet, drop us an email telling when you plan to arrive.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

The swimming pool is closed for the season. It will reopen in Oct. The gates are mostly closed due to free range rabbits on the grounds. Ring the bell at either gate or better yet, send us an email a day or two before your arrival. Dogs must be on a leash at all times while the rabbits are grazing.

Report Check-In

The place is not closed and OK for one or two nights. Toilets and showers are basic and semi clean. The center of Catemaco close by and by feet approx. 15-20 min. walk.

Report Check-In

On April 6th we had RVs and campers. Obviously the groovie guy was lost or came in after 9 when we close the gates. We are always open, and we are not creepy. It a well lit, occupied property.

Report Check-In

I don't know, but I could guess, who said we are closed. We have been open 365 days a year for 11 years.

Report Check-In

Great place. Power was good and the Wifi improves the closer you get to the pool. We paid 200 peso for two. Washer and dryer works as advertised 30 peso per load. Didn’t use the pool-somewhat in need of attention.

Report Check-In

Gate was closed. No life there a local said. Gave me the creeps

Report Check-In

Nice Campground with shade, electricity, water, showers and pool and a very fast Wifi.
Five minutes to the City Center and Malecon, good restaurants nearby.
Costs 200 for a van. Washingmachine 30 dryer 30. The amenities are O.K. but more cleaning would not be bad !!

Report Check-In

Nice and open space place close to the city center and lake. Easy access through a wide gate. Take the 2nd gate. Pool with warm showers. We payed 200 Pesos for truck camper 24 ft. and 2 Persons. Huge trees and shade if you need.
We can’t say anything negative about this location !!!!

Report Check-In

I would NOT stay here. Buggy, non- functioning waterslide, kiddie pool is full of mosquito larvae, dark bathrooms, no toilet paper, children are not welcome. $300 a night is exorbitant for the little you get. Manager appears to know little about local services, could not even recommend a place for tacos and in fact said to avoid any street food (which was economical and delicious with no GI side effects)

Report Check-In

A sad little piece of the United States sitting in Mexico without any purpose. obsolete, lifeless and limp. cold showers, non functioning waterslide and children's pool is now a filthy cesspool for mosquitoes.... lots of bugs, mosquitoes and flying insects. inadequate water supply. management was unable to answer most basic questions about the area. we needed to make some repairs to our rig and the guy couldn't even recommend a welder... he takes a lot of naps... there's a horrible amount of light pollution at this place, so don't expect good rest or starry skies. despite the light pollution in the campground, the bathrooms are dark and dangerous. it's also rediculously overpriced. bring your own toilet paper.

Report Check-In

Quiet friendly neighborhood campground. We paid 400 pesos a night. Campsite has electric water and sewer. Nice place the owner is friendly and easy going.

Report Check-In

Quiet and nice campground. Paid 250 pesos for our RV 22 feet. Didn't charge anything for our 2 children.

Report Check-In

Nice guy running the place, speaks English. Washer and dryer available for $30 per run. Clean toilets and showers. Good WiFi.

Report Check-In

A Must stop. Wonderful peaceful place. If you are pulling a trailer or bus size, it would be a good idea to pull over and walk over to check entrance. It's the SECOND one along the white wall. You'll be in trouble if you go in the wrong entrance! Gene speaks perfect English and is very accommodating. Well worth the 300 pesos for 2 people per night. We'll be coming back.

Report Check-In

good place for overnight. But if you want to visit Catemaco and take your time here in a quiet place with wonderful wildlife , you can go toThe Jungla !

Report Check-In

As the guy in charge I would like tosay I'm sorry for the unkept bathrooms if anyone came through during the summer. Health problems kept me away for a couple months, then long time employees deciding to move on. Things are back in order but things have changed. All new security cameras 24/7, but getting in after dark you do need to ring a doorbell ( one at each gate) or make some noise. We will get this ironed out soon ( somehow) but rest assured , you can stay here. Thanks for your business and recommendations!

Report Check-In

Everything as described, still lots of mosquitos. We stayed 3 nights and unfortunately the internet wasn't working all the time. I would say it is rather average than fast.

Report Check-In

arrived at site once it was dark and left early in the AM.
as mentioned by others it has tall grass so lots of bugs. we payed 200 pesos and got access to washrooms, running water and there is a plugs and dump access for RV s.

good place to overnight on the road.

Report Check-In

Pros: a big grassy field, showers, pool, etc. cons he considered our truck camper an rv so charged us a ridiculous 300mx. Walking to stores etc and just fine for 1 night

Report Check-In

elevation is 1270 ft.

The pool is full and will be open in a week or so.
Rates are posted in the office.

Report Check-In

Paid 250mxn for 2 adults and 2 kids. Vans are 200mxn, RVs are 300mxn. For the kids he charged 50mxn extra. Owner is friendly and is from the US. Pool was closed when we arrived (opens in December)and we felt with a closed pool the 250mxn is too expensive. We pointed that out but no discount was given. If the pool is open the place is probably worth the 250mxn. Place is quite, close to the city and secure. You get free wifi and a pool.

Report Check-In

The hot water is usually turned off in the summer, even the cold water is too warm.
Costs per night depend on size of rig and number of people in the group !! Maximum prices per category are posted.

Report Check-In

Beautiful water and was cool even in the heat we're experiencing here at the end of May, yes it's expensive, but quite a welcome break after the stretch of what we considered nothingness from Veracruz to here.

Report Check-In

Stayed several nights, pleasant location, interesting town, good host. If you are there on Sunday, join the host and other guests for the trip to the jungle restaurant, some of the best food we have had in MX and you are sitting in a tree house.

Report Check-In

Comfortable RV park with all amenities. 200mx per night. Quiet while we were there.

Report Check-In

Very nice RV Park with grassy area, hook-ups, Wi-Fi. Hot showers, pool, covered hang-out area. 200 pesos a night. Nice host.

Report Check-In

250MX per night electric, water and sewer hookup. VERY tall grass so loads of bugs. Mosquitoes etc. Good wifi. Didn't use showers as doors very hard to close. Pool still undergoing work, so doubt it will open before Christmas. Large Great Dane howled and barked late at night and early morning. First place we've been where there were big rigs. Ok spot to relax, but rainy and damp while we were there.

Report Check-In

run by Gene from USA. 250 pesos per night. cold showers. swimming pool empty but will be filled this weekend (21 NOV 2015). washer & dryer. gates are closed at night. wifi connection. 30 amp electricity available. water & sewer hookups. big rig friendly.

Report Check-In

We think place over rated. Paid 270 Pesos. Shower only cold, curtains mouldy, pool with green water and full of leaves. Only few Americans are coming to Mexico, so the upkeep of the place is no longer garanteed.

Report Check-In

200 pesos. Only stopped one night but the town looks interesting

Report Check-In

Good to stay overnight, quiet. Daily (temporarily) from 7.00 clock construction work. Electricity, water and dumping. WiFi, washing machine. Night Peso 180 -

Catemaco, well signposted

Report Check-In

Beautiful campsite right in the center of Catemaco. Everything in easy walking distance. Electricity / water / waste water at site. Clean toilets (which were cleaned twice a week), large pool, Fast Free WIFI. Great excursions in the surrounding area.

When we came back in August / September and December / January, the pool was no longer filled and the toilets not so clean anymore.

(Usually 250 pesos / day including current or 200 pesos / day plus electricity, we have the monthly fee of 3,700 pesos including electricity used)
