Start of twenty minute hike to the waterfall. Highly recommended. if you're in a big rig in peak season, park before the road narrows or you'll hate it when you see oncoming traffic.
Entrance donation based.

Nice 20 min hike. nice waterfall.
Entrance is donation based.
3 km dirt road doable with 2wd.
We parked in the parking lot, and we were asked to ‘register’. Apparently you need to pay a fee to go to the waterfall now. It is not much, 1000 pesos. However the lady that’s in the buzz doesn’t give any receipts. When we asked for it and she declined, we pointed out that it was not legal to charge without a receipt, and she ordered us to leave. From then on it was all a row of cursing and anger from their part until we drove away. We took some pictures of them because we were concerned that they would do something to our van while we are in the nearby town, and the parking clerk was coming to kick us out. Picture attached. By far the most disrespectful and entitled people we have found in our months of overlanding. Not recommended at all as you can have a much nicer experience down by the lake, 10 minutes away.
Report Check-InVery nice waterfall and walk. Recommended if you’re in the area
Report Check-InPlease' if you've a big rig stay in town.
From the spot on the lake we have walking one hour and a half.
