Good place with reasonably wind protection from the Street perfect hidden. 2 nights, we were here before and after the hike.
Report Check-InNice hidden place. No problem with enter. The bump is run over many times but high clearance is necessary. When it comes to wind protection it is not so bad but during strong winds it is hard not to fly away with a roof tent. Some rubbish present.
Report Check-InMound of gravel from road construction is very easy to get over. Private enough of a spot and great views of glaciers but when the wind picks up here watch out.
It was nearly wind free in the evening but the winds picked up at night and never stopped.
Lets just say putting the tent away was interesting. Dont think we could have set it in this wind.
Trees dont offer much protection because the wind comes from other direction.
Report Check-InWhen we came here we couldn't enter because of the big heaps by the street. Seems like they don't want you to camp here... Maybe if you have super high clearance and a very strong engine it's doable anyway but I wouldn't recommend trying if you are not absolutely certain.
Report Check-InNice views, good wind protection. There is some trash, some of which we cleaned up. Please do not leave anything here, also not toilet paper, pack it up and leave no trace. There are animals here (a fox came by for breakfast), who think this is food. Don’t feed the wild life and let’s keep this place nice and clean for everyone
