There are 3 options here - all OK but no views of the river.
1) Tent only camping on a flat lawn - no vehicle access.
2) Car/RV camping in a small parking area near reception.
3) Car/RV camping in a large flat grassy field about 50m back along the entrance road to the Lodge.
The parking lot is probably the best option on a quiet day, but when we arrived on a Saturday there was already one campervan there and it was a bit hectic, so we opted for the ‘field’. It is a bit of a walk to the toilet block (~100m) so we had to persuade the receptionist to let us camp there and that we would still use the toilets! Nice quiet spot with great shade. There’s a path through the trees from the field straight to the river where you can swim in private.
We’d highly recommend the walk to the mirador - stunning view at the end. Start from the near side of the suspension foot bridge.
There’s a restaurant at the lodge, with pretty good food and OK value for money. E.g. M$100 for a large portion of tacos / quesadillas etc. Nice location overlooking the falls.

with an RV you can camp on the big grassy field right next to the entrance booth. a footpath leads you straight to the river where you can have a nice swim without other people. still 100 Pesos/person to stay overnight (includes the entrance fee). the road is very bumpy and narrow in parts but doable with any kind of vehicle at least in dry season.

Another incredible, beautiful spot in Chiapas!
We camped here one night and even felt save enough to sleep with an open backdoor in our VWT5 because of the heat.
It is colder here than southeast down the 307, but it still gets quite warm. Place is absolutely free and locals use it for any kind of things (washing, birthday parties) but quite at night.

To get here it’s 6km gravel road just after Santo Domingo, but absolutely manageable with any kind of vehicle. From the spot it’s another 2k to get to the falls and a jungle trek that leads you to some view points.
Falls and bridge were our favourite. You can also drive the 2k and park in front of the pedestrian bridge. Might be enough space for a smaller vehicle, but we enjoyed the walk.

Swimming in the river is also really nice:)

Jungle oasis!! The camping itself is nothing special (unless maybe you manage to snag the parking spot closer to the river), but it’s quiet, safe & generally a very beautiful area around the waterfalls! 100p/person to camp including entry (usually 40p). Wifi is available for 20p per hour, but it was barely enough to map our route to the next spot, so don’t expect to be doing much in the way of surfing.

After visiting, we’d actually suggest camping at the first spot (more southerly) marked on iOverlander, which is on the opposite side of the river. It’s free & you also avoid the 100p/person community toll coming into Las Nubes— I just added it to iOverlander so you can see where the roadblock is. Locals were friendly enough, but we thought 200p on top of camping AND entry fees was a bit ridiculous. Ended up giving them 80p for the toll & they seemed happy enough, but in hindsight, we would have preferred the free spot just down the river— walk across the swing bridge in the morning to access the Centro Ecoturístico for 40p/person.

We paid 100 pesos per person (entrance to the site and night in our van). We had a quiet night and the staff is nice. Toilet and cold shower on site. We were able to empty the water from our van into a dump by asking reception.

Se stayer 2 nights and paid 100 pesos pp for camping and entrance. We could plug our RV but voltage varied from 102v to as low as 40 v. We unplugged. Apart from this, everything as described earlier. Do not miss the eco-trail! One of the nicest in Mexico with 2 miradors that worth it. And tunnels and maze further!

Report Check-In

Friendly people welcomed us. We stayed a bit under trees near the green for tent camping. Payed 200 pesos for the 2 of us and our RV. Good sanitary block with clean toilets and showers. The waterfall is awesome and the walk trough the forest to some miradores is worth it.

Report Check-In

We parked at the parking lot with our van. As others said before it's a bit expensive to stay on a parking lot for 100 Pesos pp (40 pesos entrance fee + 60 pesos for Camping). After a short discusion we could use the hot shower of a cabaña. Tourist mini bus next to us who didn't turn off their engines, even if we asked them. Could be very busy on weekend and high season.
Probably nice for tents on the grassy area, well maintenanced site, nice jungle walk. When we were leaving the area we saw another grassy area a little bit further, maybe you could park there with a RV, but there are no facilities.

Camping price is now 100MXN/person/night.

Report Check-In

Camping price is now 100MXN/person/night.
We didn’t have to pay anything to enter Las Nubes.
There are public washrooms and cold showers.
Cabanas were fully booked when we got here, and they cost 1000$/night (1-2 people).
There is a restaurant, opening hours 8am-8pm.
Needless to say, bring mosquito repellent :)

Report Check-In

No road toll until Las Nubes. Maybe because at the moment there are no tourists at all here in the region.
At las official prices are:
30MXN/p to enter las Nubes
200MXN/tent to camp
We negotiated 200 for camping and entry for two.
There is a beautiful jungle walk (2.7km) With two view points where you can see the river and waterfalls. I will add it to Openstreetmaps in the coming days. Use the app OSMand to see it.

We went just with a 24-foot RV. Very nice environment. Electricity and Wifi (20 pesos of the hour) at the reception level. 4 km Before we arrive you have paid 100 pesos to pass, against a receipt. We paid 200 pesos for 2 people for the night.

Report Check-In

Paid 200M$/night for two people, no chance to negotiate.
Showers and baños clean.

Seems a bit overpriced. In the village somebody offered us camping in the backyard for 50M$/person. But we stayed in Las Nubes because the entrance fee without camping is 30M$pp. So you end up paying nearly the same if you want to visit Las Nubes attractions.

Beautiful place. We tent camped under one of the Palapas close to the Balneario, which was good because of heavy rain during the night. Nice and clean bathrooms, cold showers. We paid 100 pesos a night for 2 persons (negotiated a bit).
The Balneario is nice with clear water, though a bit cold.

Report Check-In

Really nice place. We were all alone here. Take the trail and the views.
Keep following the signs to Las Nubes and you will make it. The camping is just a parking area. Bathrooms are okay, not great. Showers were not good.

Report Check-In

Very beautiful place and worth the small dirt road detour. Hike to the nice views, along the turquoise river and waterfalls, through a nice old hanging bridge.
30pp for entry and 70pp for camping. As the camping for cars was just basically paying for staying on the parking lot with no service extra (bathrooms and quite cold showers are further away and included in 30p entrance), the grassy field only for tent campers, we felt 140 for two people is a bit too much in Chiapas for just a parking spot. Maybe you should negotiate at least using hot shower in one of the cabañas.
The balneario was nice and beautiful colour, but super cold in January. They told us during the summer-ish months it's very nice and warm there, but it was too cold to swim and enjoy it :) (and I am no sissy, bathed in many rivers along the way)
Would go again, if for nothing than for the day. If you don't mind the little higher price for parking with cold shower, the place looks also nice to spend more time, especially during warmer months.

Report Check-In

This place is so beautiful and not to crowded.
The trail to access is a dirt road for 11km but accessible with 2WD.
The site is really clean and charming.
We made the little hike which was so cute.
You can swim in a balneario with turquoise water which is cool!
We camp with our camper and the personal was super friendly. Highly recommended 😍

Report Check-In

This is a lovely and peaceful place!! The hike is a must as well as swimming in the balneario. The price now is 70pesos/person to camp + 30 pesos/day pass.

Report Check-In

River swollen and cataracts and waterfalls completely covered. Cold shower felt good after 1600 m hike to mirador overlooking valley to east. Restaurant food decent. Great swinging bridge over river.

Report Check-In

It is a great place. The waterfalls are nice and you will have an amazing view from the mirador, so take the hike! It was not allowed for us to stay with our RV on the grassy area. So we stayed on the gravel parking-lot close to the reception. The sanitary was clean, cold water showers. No Wifi. We paid 50 Pesos per person. The street to Las Nubes is good, one part is paved the other is good gravel. No problem with our 24` RV.

Report Check-In

we stopped here only to hike. did not camp. nice hike with lots of stairs. super hot when we were here so a dip in the baleneria was welcome and it was actually quite cool not warm like most rivers.

Report Check-In

Toucans! Stunning waterfalls! Price still 50 pesos per person. Took us about 40 minutes from the highway, well worth it, great hike.

Report Check-In

Really nice complex with cabañas next to gorgeous waterfalls. Camp for 50 pesos per person to camp by grassy area which is reserved for tent campers. Clean restrooms and cold showers. Very nice hike with through the Lancondon Jungle and spectacular views of the turquoise river and its waterfalls. Probably our favorite place in Chiapas.

Report Check-In

Nice little place on a beautiful blue river full of large waterfalls and rapids. Really nice hiking trail to an amazing overlook. There are lots of cabanas and a restaurant (no alcohol available at the restaurant). Vehicle camping is done in the parking lot, and there is a nice big grassy area for tent camping. Cold showers, ok restrooms ( toilets have seats). Our gps took us the wrong way down a gravel road to a dead end, just across the river from the campground, with no way to drive across. Make sure to follow the official road signs. You should pass through the small town of Jerusalen right after you leave the 307. The turn off is paved, and has signs. The parking lot is too small for big rigs. We paid 50p to camp and 20p each for being in a park. Total 90p

Report Check-In

Beautiful Ajido on an amazing blue river. Nice restrooms. Huge grassy lot for truck campers and a separate area for renters. Didn't stay here overnight but visited during the day. Camping is 50 pesos per person.
