nothing else to say.
Forget Victoria Falls restcamp and stay here.
still 10 usd pppn.
here is nothing to complain about, highly recommended

Report Check-In

we stayed 2 nights and it was during the week so very quiet. we liked it. but take care, could be very busy and noisy during weekends (words of the staff ;-)
electricity, light, wifi included, drinkable water tap, garbage bins, brai.
big and very clean ablutions with hot water.
big and clean pool with chairs to relax.
sushi bar very known at the pool (we saw plenty of people coming to take away!)
walking distance to everything : falls (10 minutes), city center&supermarkets (5min) and craft market (1 min).
small shop inside the hotel at fair prices. friendly staff.
cash or credit card.
10$ pppn.

Report Check-In

Camping in the garden of a hotel in downtown Vic Falls with varying light and sound depending on the other guests. Perfect ablutions, convenient location and at 10 USD ppn a good deal. Just too many mosquitoes.

Report Check-In

I've stayed at one of the 4-bedroom dormitory (they have 5), all by myself. Although it's very clean, with lockers to secure your belongins, it was freaking hot. The ceiling fan is weak, and you cannot leave the window open because the baboons get in. No moskito net on the window, so after 5pm you cannot open it either. Really uncomfortable. But the ablutions are clean and neat, security walks around, the mini market sells cold beverages and basic items for honest price. Tour operator inside the hotel is very handy. 20USD a bed in dormitory.

Report Check-In

we stayed two nights on the campsite. many guests but we found a place. not much privacy. you can walk to vicfalls and to pick'n'pay. they wanted to fully charge our kids (3 + 5). I told him that's the first place after 3 weeks in zim where the kids have to pay, so he charged only one of them.
food at the Asian restaurant at the pool was delicious. ablution clean, but shower was not really hot ( temperature that you could have a shower without freezing but you will stop as soon as possible). maybe that's fixed. ladies part of ablution was cooking hot. loud live music from nearby place until after midnight. first helicopter noises at 7.45 in the morning for the hole day.
but for vicfalls a good option if you don't like to drive.

Report Check-In

Nice place for a break, clean toilets
However, extremely noisy during night, due to two discos nearby.
Not much pivacy as well at the sites.

Report Check-In

Absolutely beautiful place right close to town and River Brewey company serving craft beers.
One can camp here and showers and toilets are very clean. Great restaurant as well.

Report Check-In

Nice and clean place. Very practical. We paid 20$ for two people + car. It is in the center of town so it is not very quiet and the space is not big so not too much privacy. But you can walk to the victoria falls. The guy who does the maintenance (grass, pool, toilets...) does a very good job. The sites are well looked after. And the Sushi is really good too.

Report Check-In

Great campsite in town. All sites are placed around the pool. I can imagine it can get crowded in busy season but when we were here, we were the only campers.

Clean ablution block, many toilets and showers for women and men. Washing basin behind the block to do dishes or laundry. Trees provide lots of shade.

And yes, the bar has great sushi, it will be delivered to your camp if requested.

We stayed 5 nights since we loved it so much. Wifi works even at the sites. there is one SA plug, the rest all UK plugs.

The trains move by often in the afternoon but not at night. Bars only played music on Friday and Saturday night, I think because a lot of big tour busses were in town. We could enjoy life music from the bar next door one night at camp.

we payed 10 $ pppn, for wifi you get a 2 GB voucher and you can get more, all for free

Report Check-In

All exactly as already described: very central and clean place on grassground, shady and sunny places under wonderful trees. perfect and very clean ablutions. Very helpful staff, free perfecT Wi-Fi. Best of all: quiet sushi bar/ Restaurant on campground, highly recommended!!! Reasonable prices for wonderful food. Be aware that centrally located places can be noisy at night.

Report Check-In

Best Place in Vic Falls for Camping. 10.- pP incl. good Wifi.
They serve some of the best Sushi in Africa right to your rig. Very Friendly Staff! We are here for the second time.

Report Check-In

Very central, can walk to most places from here. Big rig friendly, if the one available space is free (11T truck). Electricity and free WiFi (500mb vouchers). Ablutions amazing. Laundry $5 for a smallish bag (enough for our bed sheets and some clothes). Very friendly and helpful staff. We paid $10pppn. Stayed 4 nights. Friday eve noisy from bar across road until 23:00, quiet all other nights.

Tip: have a breakfast at the Lookout Cafe (walking distance).

Report Check-In

Great for what it is: an urban campsite. At least you camp on the lawn. Morden facilities, very neat, nice pool area, fast free wifi. Surprisingly it was extremely quiet at night (it was mid week). 1km walk to Victoria Falls entry gate. 10 USD ppn

Report Check-In

Nice facility- very good WiFi, nice Campground, Pool, absolut beautiful ablutions, good personal 24/7. just a few minutes walk from the Vicfalls which are right now very powerful, due to Corona (Zimbabwe open since a few weeks) nearly no tourist. 10$ per person on the camp ground. Also Doorms available.

Report Check-In

Nice, clean campsite 10 minutes walk from the Victoria Falls.
10$ pp

Report Check-In

Camped 2 nights on the grass in front the the hotel. Very friendly staff and great location. The abblutions are amazing with very hot showers and the pool is clean. Not the most idyllic campsite, but great if you're looking for a comfortable place to visit the Falls. 10$ p.p

Report Check-In

We really like this camp, very clean ablutions are great. It cost 14$ cash or 17$ by Card. They have laundry service for 6$ for small bag.

Report Check-In

Excellent camping spot, right in town so walking distance to the falls, restaurants, shops etc. Very professional service, immaculately clean ablutions, pool/entertaining area. Don't be put off by the view from the street, once inside it feels very private and secure. And surprising was not too noisy during the night. We also drove past the Rest Camp, but that is a bit further away from falls and doesn't look as nice. N1 is very peaceful and inviting. Also free WiFi. We paid $14 USD per adult per night, under 5 yrs free, and children over 5 half adult price.

Report Check-In

Wanted for once to take a room to dry all my soaked gear, but was too expensive for my long-term travelers budget. The gent at the reception gave me a WiFi voucher to check my options w/o asking for it. True hospitality!

Report Check-In

We checked both N1 and Rest Camp and they are both nice, but we decided for N1 because it was super clean and new, and we were the only campers, so we had the full place and facilities for us. Rest camp was full of large groups and looked a bit less cozy. Both same price (N1 for $14pp, Rest Camp $10pp plus $7 for car)

Report Check-In

We decided to camp at N1 for many reasons; its central location makes it extremely convenient after a long drive. It's very clean, tidy and the staff are excellent. With a special mention to the night guard Ernest and Nicolas at the reception. It's a little pricey compared to what we usually pay; but it's worth it. The only downside is that you can hear music playing in town until the early hours.

Report Check-In

lovely, small, grassy campsite in town. super convenient. the ablutions really do deserve special mention - hands down the nicest we have seen so far.

friendly hotel staff, nice pool and easy walking distance to the falls. We could park on the grass so our rooftop tent got shade.

everything quiets down at night and then you just hear the falls in the distance!

river brewing co next door does delicious food and some fab craft beers / trendy gins.

Report Check-In

Don’t really understand what all the rave in the comments come from. Sure, it’s an okay place to camp when in Vic Falls, but it is a city camping on a quite cramped piece of grass.

Major pros are: really really nice showers, 10 minutes walking to Vic Falls, and more important; 30 seconds of walking to a restaurant/brewery who makes and sells really nice craft beer. Probably the only IPA you’ll find north of South Africa.

Report Check-In

Great place. Central can walk to the falls and around town. Sites are with power and lights. Ablutions are brilliant!!! Staff very helpful. Paid $14usd pppn

Report Check-In

Nice campsites under trees in the shade. Generous pool area. Friendly reception, very centrally located. Can be noisy from bars around till like 11 pm. 14 USD pppn, included spacious showers, clean ablutions, fast internet everywhere (even in the beer bar next door 😋)
Quick walk to the Falls and some nice restaurants and places to book all kinds of activities. Really enjoyed the 2 nights stay.

Report Check-In

Very clean ablution.
Camping 14 USD pppn

Report Check-In

The N1 Hotel has a great campsite with a fantastic ablution block comparable to those you find at campgrounds in and around the Alps. Very nice grass covers the entire area, so there is not a lot of mud when it rains, and there is a large covered area as well. As nice as it was, we felt the campsite lacked atmosphere and shade, so we moved to the shadier (but not completely as nice) Rest Camp in town for our second night. Both camps had loud music at night from nearby bars.

Report Check-In

$14pppn. we drove onto the lawn and nobody complained, so we had a grassy campsite right next to the pool.

Report Check-In

Very clean ablutions, nice little pool, shops to buy food and drinks ( and beer ). Campspace a little bit small for my Landcruiser. 14 Dollar pppn

Report Check-In

Nice Hotel with a garden where you can camp for 14 USD pppn. Free electricity and very good WiFi! There are some braai spots as well. Very clean and good facilities! good to explore the falls from here! Recommended!

Report Check-In

It’s camping in the meticulous and pretty pool garden with luxury ablutions. 14$ pp. You can’t get on the lawn with your car, but we parked right at the edge and put our tent in the grass just next to it, so no problems with that. Quite illuminated, but more romantic than glaring. There was some noise from the outdoor pub next door, but ebbed away around midnight. Helicopter noise S mentioned. Would stay again.

Report Check-In

I'd go as far to say this is the best place to camp in Vic Falls. Powered sites spread around the hotels beautiful garden, with brai stands included. Very nice and clean ablution block, and great swimming pool. Has a convenience store inside the hotel, and the hotel does a $5 breakfast each morning. Walking distance to town and falls. Powered sites used British plugs here, however they can supply adapters for a $5usd deposit.

Camping is $13ppn
Rooms are $68

Report Check-In

good wifi, excellent ablutions, very convenient location.
but, unable to get vehicles onto grass and so need to park alongside. OK but not fabulous.
little noisy from local bar and few times a day train.
good Internet signal available on campground.
visited August 2017 paid 14 Us$ per person.

Report Check-In

Very nice grass campsite in the garden of the hotel with pool and good ablutions. Walking distance to the Falls. Overlander trucks are stopping there so it might get really crowded on some days.

Report Check-In
