Report Check-In

Great value parking! $3 for 24 hours still. If you park here for the first time then you don't need a TAP card but after this the kiosk asks for one (they're $2 available in the metro station). We parked here for Universal which is only a 10 min walk away (there's a free shuttle bus across the bridge). We then left and came back to park here overnight the next day. We're in a NOT stealthy campervan and slept overnight without issue. Much quieter than some of our recent street parking. However we're 17ft and only just fit in the spaces so probably no bigger vehicles. No toilets nearby.

Report Check-In

Great location, 5 minute walk to Universal. Paid 3$ for 24h, parked with my 21 foot van in the lower part of the parking around 9pm, there was already 2 vans parked there. Went to Universal in the morning, and slept there a second night for another 3$. A little noise from the highway but still quiet.

Report Check-In

paid for parking and within 5 min security came and said we can't park here overnight. we are in a 5 window shuttle bus with solar panels and a ladder in the bus so not exactly stealth

Report Check-In

Got there in the morning, and went to Universal for the day. Back to van around 9pm and stayed overnight. Left early in the morning. Only one other RV and a few other cars, felt very safe with security roaming. But definitely requires stealth, because this spot is not meant for sleeping.

Report Check-In

$3 for 24 hour parking. I arrived around 2130 and left around 0730. I am not stealth, but wasn't bothered. Just don't make it known that you're staying in your vehicle and they won't have a reason to question it.

Report Check-In

Parked here for one day and one night no problem while visiting the city via Metro. TAP card can be bought down in the Metro station to get more than 24h of parking.
Metro ride around LA was an experience though, interesting people on the Metro.

Report Check-In

Good place, 3 dollars for 24 hours. Felt really safe, a little bit noisy.

Report Check-In

Slept here for 2 nights. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking available. We parked in our 23’ school bus. We had to park with our tail end hanging over dirt but with that extra bit we easily fit inside the lines. You HAVE to have a TAP card and we did not see anywhere to buy one here. I put money on the TAP card but couldn’t pay with the tap card. So don’t make that mistake. You just have to have one to show that you’re “going to use the metro” because it is a park and ride. So we got our TAP card prior to arriving, once we parked we walked over towards the big escalators where there were parking meters. We put on our license plate number and tap card number and had to pay $3 a night. Once finished it did not give us a receipt. I was concerned that would be a problem so I called the number on the meter and the woman informed me that they can see if you paid by entering your license plate number into the system and that we didn’t need a receipt. There was security roaming around consistently. We felt safe here. We left the bus for 10 hours one day to go explore and nothing bad happened while we were gone. We did not see any homeless. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Arrived after dark, paid the $3 and stayed until 9am. Saw what looked like security lingering throughout the night but no one told us to move on. Had a homeless man come up and ask for "help" and saw what looked like drug dealing. Lots of run down cars pulling in for 10mins then leaving again. Felt a bit uneasy but stayed the night anyway and everything was fine. Wouldn't stay again though, didn't want to leave the camper unattended for a train ride either

Report Check-In

Not intended for camping, but still worked! Felt safe, noone bothered us. Payed the 3$ via website because you need a TAP card to pay at the machines in the lot. Great after an exhausting day at the Universal Studios ;) I'd park here the next time I visit, official parking for the studios starts at 30$...

Report Check-In

Only three bucks!? Probably the cheapest thing I bought in LA this whole time. Surprisingly quiet, clean, and safe. Super fast speeds on T-Mobile 5G.

Report Check-In

Park&Ride, 3 $ for 24h. no sings about overnight, but for sure this place is not dedicated for overnight stay. There are lines where you have to fit your car. No special places for big RV. We fit the lines with 27 ft RV (but it was very tight). No other cars, no RVs for overnight. We didn't have any Metro card, payed in machine.
Great and safe location.

Report Check-In

nice spot for visiting the city. we stay there with our 25 ft RV back above the dirt. not much places for a long RV. must park between lines. close to red line metro and walking distance to universal city

Report Check-In

We spent 4 nights in this spot. Best spot ever to visit studios and city. We payed with our licence plate two times and two other times with licence plate and metro card. The parking was empty. Be discret if you go to studios.
3 dollars for a night.

Report Check-In

Excellent location for seeing Hollywood and LA. Surprisingly peaceful at night. Important to stay low-key/stealthy as this is obviously not intended as a campsite, but parking is permitted for up to 72 hrs. $3 per day. From the comments below it's obviously important to fit in the spaces. We are 21ft long and found a spot where our back-end could hang over the dirt. Any longer vehicles will struggle to fit in the spaces and likely to be fined. Signs say the car park is strictly for users of the Metro, so keep your Metro ticket/card handy to show if asked. No facilities so you need to be self-sufficient in your vehicle.

Report Check-In

It's save parking for overnight, but we have been here with an RV and got 53$fine, because we excess vehicle length.

Report Check-In

The parking lot is officially no longer intended for Universal Studio but there is a shuttle to the top on the other side. The way up doesn't take very long and you can walk it if you like.
But it would be recommendable to book more if you know that you will be there longer than 24 hours. Otherwise, one has to scan a tap card at the automat. We and other campers solved this problem by inserting a space at the number plates and thus, a number or a letter was also omitted.
We did not see anybody who controls. Had no problems at all there were 3 nights and 2 full days.

It is recommendable to stand further behind and to arrive there from 18 o'clock. Then the parking lot is not so full anymore. During the day many employees / or city gangsters park here and take the Metro.
It still costs 3$ for 24h

Report Check-In

Great and safe place to stay in a small and stealthy van. Had no problems - we stayed for many nights (72 hours max only if you want to pay for the whole duration at once, otherwise it's just 3$ a day, day after day). No facilities, so take care of everything before you go to sleep.

Report Check-In

Theres a big sign “no parking for Universal Studios” so we were not sure if it’s the right spot at first. We paid the 3$ fee and will use the metro in the morning.
It was very hard to fit our 27ft RV in one of the spots (see photos). Further downhill is lots of space but there are a few people residing inside the bushes and it doesn’t seem really safe. So we’re staying a bit closer to the entrance. Only one other little van parked here tonight. Lots of people park here to explore the city though.

Report Check-In

Large parking lot, every time we arrived still a lot of spaces. Stayed here two nights (not in a row) and used metro to visit Hollywood, just one metro stop to the walk of fame. Would definitely recommend it, felt safe, just keep very low profile, once back in the parking lot go directly in your van and lights out 😉

Report Check-In

Great place to park your vehicle and wander about Los Angeles. For $3.00 you get 24hrs if fairly secure parking for the night. The price point is perfect for my budget and there is a Ralph’s, Starbucks and a Jamba Juice all within walking distance. With Universal Studios and and shopping right close you’ll have yourself one heck of an adventure.

Recomendamos.

Report Check-In

Stayed here with 30ft RV. Arrived 9pm and register at kiosk. $3. Good and safe place

Report Check-In

Stayed in our minivan a Sunday night, 3$/24h. Quiet at night. 2 RVs in the parking lot at the same time. Police came in the morning but said nothing to us. We kept low profile, we are not supposed to sleep in your vehicle..

Report Check-In

stayed one night. 3$ for 24hours. no public toilets nearby. so make sure to take care of everything before ;-)

Report Check-In

We stayed three nights there. In the second night is necesary to have a "tap card" from metro to can pay the ticket in a token (only bills of U$ 1, 5 or 10), otherwise is not possible to buy it (park and ride) or must buy once the next nights (maximum 72 hours). Oficcialy don't can overnight there but we have not problem when we stayed. In the first night we sleep on the roof tent. Safe but no facilities

Report Check-In

We stayed one night here and it was quiet. You need to go to the kiosk, sign up for your sign and pay the $ 3 dollars, by 24hrs.

Report Check-In

We arrived Saturday night and stayed til today without any problems (24 hour parking US $ 3,00, max. 72 hours). On Sunday and Monday we used the Metro (1-Day Pass US $ 7,00). At night it was not to loud.
With our 24ft RV we fit in one parking lot.

Report Check-In

Not legal to sleep. Stayed one night, got chased away by the cops the next. 3 USD/day.
