Report Check-InFriday night and we were alone here. Place is more or less clean. Lot of firepits and no other amenties. Free.
Report Check-Inan update: this morning at about 5, the couple camping closest to us left after starting and idling their engine for ten minutes. they left behind a campground full of diesel fumes and an enormous pile of garbage. at about 8, a large truck, a backhoe, and a crew of 4 men came in to clean up everyone's garbage. with the large truck (left idling next to our tent for 15 minutes...), the backhoe, the rakes and shovels, the amount of noise was ridiculous. they've been at it for over an hour now and the place is somewhat clean.
so...maybe come here Tuesday-Friday nights. it might be clean then.
Report Check-Intypical free campground in Argentina. no amenities, lots of garbage everywhere. the far right corner beach appears to be where people go to the toilet, and there are lots of plastic bottles and Styrofoam cups swirling in the water.
it is very sad to see how people do not take care of their natural spaces. the river, the canyon, and the trees are so beautiful here, but the campground itself is a mess. sad.
also typical of municipal campgrounds--bright lights come on when it gets dark and stay on all night. so annoying.

We spent a quiet Sunday night here in low season.. no one else around after dark.. next to no traffic on the canyon road. This place would be great in summer!
Report Check-InFor us this place was lovely - large picnic area with asado pits, flat areas and lots of shade. There are a couple of good places to swim / bathe. In the weekend it was really busy but during the week it was quiet. The best spot is the far right corner by the river.
Report Check-InMunicipal campsite. Beautiful location next to fast flowing river and amazing red rock formations. Free. No facilities. Use nearby fishing club for a hot shower. Some rubbish. Be careful of broken glass.
