Latest Check-Ins

Light noise from road but almost nothing at night, easy to find level spaces in most rig sizes. scoped out the rest area to as I was coming in late at night with rain, but it was staked out by Border Patrol vehicles so went for the proper BLM land

Report Check-In

Near tree and saguaro catus. great site. Peggy's site.

Report Check-In

Very nice spot, many sites, quiet. One night stay before going to the Organ Pipe Park.

Report Check-In

big places, lots of space, no services, near the Park (but 35 km from the trails), nothing Else, few road noises

Report Check-In

Great location close to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. Easy access, tons of spots, and road, although close by, isn’t very busy or loud. Beautiful sunset views!

Report Check-In

As reported by others, tons of places to park. I was car camping in a Forester. Saw some big rigs and smaller campers. No reason to be near anyone, so much room to spread out. Had 3 or 4 bars LTE on AT&T. Lots of car noise...folks headed down or back from the border. So if you’re looking for super quiet, this isn’t it. Despite that, the area felt peaceful. Stayed one night before heading to Organ Pipe.

Report Check-In

Huge area close to Natl Monument. Pull in and park anywhere. A few trees here and there for afternoon shade. I see large rigs. 4 bars on Verizon.

Report Check-In

found a perfectly level site not too far in, plenty of neighbors, but not too close, great location for Organ Pipe Cactus NP

Report Check-In

BLM just off the highway... several areas to pull over. Please keep these areas open by packing out trash and other items.

Report Check-In

Good spot for Boondocking, nothing special to mention about it

Report Check-In

Huge area that could hold tons of rigs. Lots of spaces between trees or bushes where you can get a bit of privacy, too. Free, no facilities, moderate T-Mobile cell service. Didn't see any camp host.

Report Check-In

This is a terrific spot! Quiet, except for the coyote calls at dusk (love that!) and some military jets by day (we may have heard a sonic boom one day!). Large area that accommodates many RVs with lots of room between sites. Road in very good condition. We were in a 32’ Class A and went in far enough that we did not hear traffic from Hwy 85. There’s room at the entrance to unhook if you have a tow car and use that to go choose a site. Just a few miles to Organ Pipes Cactus National Monument which has amazing hikes and scenic drive. Verizon 4G, full bars.

Report Check-In

Huge dispersed camping area at Hwy 85 ca 4 miles north of Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. The surrounding is only with few Saguaros, so you can find more beautiful locations in the area around Ajo with typical sonoran desert vegetation. But you can move away far enough from the road to be quiet, it´s clean, access is easy, so it is fine to spend the night after a sightseeing day in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument.

Report Check-In

Super quiet. Much bigger than I imagined. Clean. There’s a few big rigs scattered. Looking forward to relaxing weekend. Weather is superb.

My second time there. I like it. Huge area with shrubs in between roads and spots. Some wash to cross if you want to go farther.

Almost no garbage to be seen, let's keep it this way.

Aka Gunsite wash. No host while we were here. Lots of border patrol avtivity at night. Might not have noticed them but it is very quiet and dark!

Report Check-In

very quiet. found a perfectly level spot. the few neighbors we saw were very friendly. no camp host. Verizon signal was very strong. no AT&t at all.

Report Check-In

Huge open area with lots of pull out options. No one asked us to sign in, just pulled right in and parked. Came on a Saturday night and there were a few RVs but it wasn't too busy. Not the nicest of areas with noisy generators but good for a night or two. No amenities, free.

Report Check-In

Perfect weather in February. Enough place to find your own campsite. Spots along the wash are nicer. Cell signal 4G.
