A great boondock site above the Colorado River. Right at the edge of the canyon, dirt road from highway about a mile or two. Large turnabout area for parking. Fire ring and great views!

Its so gorgeous here! The gate being closed made me hesitate a bit, especially because it was dark when we got here. Also the path was very uneven at parts and i worried my car would tip over or get stuck but im so glad i pushed through!
Report Check-InWe don't have a smartphone, it was quite hard to find, even more when you see the place and gate as a comment say before. I took a picture but don't have it right now.
If you pass badger creek on your rigth, then you pass the wash-canyon and it will be on you left. There is a fence and a indication saying that US interior department is digging or something like this, it's the good place. You can continue and when you arrive to small hill, it's where we slept, before arriging to the canyon, we found it way better because we had no look from the road and it was super quiet.
Report Check-InAbout 650 meters after the Gate you will need 4x4 wheel RV : a big hole and several parts with a bit of sand.
With a Classic RV you will have to park at the first pull out which is located in front the lodge and it's next from the highway....
Multiple spots. There's a gate at the main road, make sure to close it again :)
Report Check-InAbsolutely stunning location. When we were here it was EXTREMELY windy to the point we had to leave. Not sure if it's always like this but...
