Nearly 100 nice places for tents and rv.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Buckeye Hill only allows group camping now. No individual camping.
Very sad.
Signs on all spots saying no overnight camping since 1/21/2018. We have a big skoolie so we didn’t risk staying since we stand out so much. Probably okay for smaller rv or van if you park on the backside of the loop
Report Check-InHuge place with many pullouts. There was a sign at the entrance saying "No Camping: Ramadas are for day use only" so we weren't sure what that was about but we didn't park near them just in case. A couple of RVs were parked when we came. Free, no amenities.
Report Check-InOne side of the backloop has valley view. Maybe a bit warm in summer, but it cools down at night. Pittoilets were closed. We were the only visitors. We loved it here. Stayed for 2 nights. Free.
Report Check-InI stayed on the back loop. 4 sites with gazebos, 2 without. website says there is a fee but nobody around to pay and no on site information. campsite is nothing fancy, but a good stop over point.
Report Check-Inquiet at this time of the year
can hear shooting range activity in day time
Paved and dirt roads passable by any car/bike/motorcycle. Okay for any rig or tent. Many spaces already taken when we arrived at 10pm, but with a bit of exploring we find an open spot.
FREE.
Near the city for services. Put toilets and tables in a few locations. Mostly just wide open desert dotted with boondocking RVs.
