This is a very nice place to overnight as you are right at the seashore. This is a parking area that runs along the seashore about 1/4 mile from the resort.
No services and campfires aren't allowed but you can walk into the casino for bathroom if you need. It costs $20 for weeknight or $35 for fri/sat
As of August 11,2023. players club free play was $5 plus $5 if you provide an email and an additional $5 provided as “points” which you can transfer to usable gambling money in the slot machine. We asked about the “$3 breakfast on sundays” that someone else mentioned and the person at Emily’s restaurant told us they don’t offer a breakfast for $3.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The gravel lot is large, no facilities, no direct beach view. A 10 min walk to the beach is beautiful, option for cars to acces the beach at Ocean Shores town.
we paid $10,- p.n. (after registering for free as a member, 10 free play)
Report Check-In$20/night Sunday-Thursday; $35/night Friday and Saturday was the total cost for a very spacious gravel lot with clearly marked wide and deep spaces that easily accommodate big rigs with tow behind vehicles. Very quiet with security patrolling the lot frequently (every 10 minutes the vehicle passed by). Indirect Beach access only at the far end of the lot by the trail blocked by yellow concrete poles otherwise drive to the access at the casino.
Report Check-InGreat spot for a quick overnight. Quiet, dark, and secure. Relatively quick walk to a really cool beach, lots of large driftwood, sand dollars, etc. Saw a bald eagle on the beach. As others have mentioned, you need to go into the casino/hotel itself to pay the $20 fee (it clearly says this on the sign at the entrance to the camping area -- see photo). The entrance sign says "Factory built RVs only", but we had no issues in our clean 2019 Transit conversion. I think that rule (and others, see photo of sign) exist to keep out the older vans and less-than-clean looking conversions, which is understandable. On the form you fill out, I just wrote "Ford Transit" for manufacturer and they didn't question it. Super nice people at casino. I'd much rather give $20 to them for a quiet, peaceful night near the sea than a campground with people having smoky fires and kids running around screaming.
Report Check-InThis place now charges $20 per night during the week and $35 per night on the weekend, and that is year round including the off-season/winter
Report Check-InOk spot for the night if you have no other options. I paid $20. The RV parking lot is about a 5 minute walk from the casino--keep that in mind for bathrooms, etc.
There's no view of the ocean from the lot.
Weak AT&T and good Verizon signal.
Report Check-InInitially parked in the camper section, which we had not paid for so we went to the normal parking lot to camp in our sprinter. Woken up at 4am by security telling us we needed to leave or pay for the camping section. Once in the past we had stayed in the camping section in the off season (which is free) in our honda element, and were also woken up around 6am saying they do not allow personal vehicles to be camped in, even though it was converted. i dont think i need 3 strikes to not come back here, two is enough.
Report Check-InI tried to stop in pretty late, asked the front desk if it would be okay, confirmed that security wouldn't be an issue. Not even 2 hours later, security was knocking. The hotel doesn't have the authorization to approve parking and sleeping in your car. The security guard was also very rude. I wouldn't risk staying here unless you have an RV.
Report Check-InGreat place to stay with lots of space and level ground, only about 7 RVs in the whole lot for us. Huge beach just down a boardwalk and down a trail.. the dogs loved running on the beach. We registered and paid the $10 fee for a couple nights and ended up staying a couple more without re-registering or paying. Doesn’t seem like they really care with it being off-season, but make sure you initially register to get the pass to hang from your window.
Definitely recommend!
Report Check-InRV Dry camping in far lot, right next to beach and short distance to ocean. Plenty of room for all sizes. Rates $10 night Sun-Thurs, $20 Fri-Sat. 14-day limit.
Report Check-InDO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE SELF-CONVERTED vehicle. Whether you DIY, or paid 100K to have a company do it. They only allow factory made RVs and vans. Even if you are self contained. The security office about broke down my door. We registered and paid with the front desk, they asked us if we were self contained, we answered yes (which we are) - that is it..
Report Check-Innous sommes venu un mardi. 10$ pour la nuit. stationnement aménagé dans le fond de la cour pour les RV. accès à la plage wifi dans le hall du casino. souper au casino, crabe à volonté pour 35$ c'était un souper excellent.
casino parking 10$ Check in at the front desk casino.access beach. all crab you Can eat for
35$ excellent dîner et casino
Don’t give these people business if you’re on a van or overlanding vehicle. I just went in and checked in yesterday. Spent the alright and this morning a security guard kicked me out for being in a van not registered as an rv. He told me “being self contained isn’t good enough” even after the receptionist told me that’s all I needed to prove, These people are ridiculous.
Report Check-InStayed one night and it was free this time of year. Check-in with security when you arrive because it is a long walk from the RV parking in the back. Some rigs looked like they’ve been there awhile with fences and tarps set up outside. You can have a fire if you bring a self-contained fire ring. Only amenity is a large dumpster, but very close walk to the beach and it is quiet. Good cell service on ATT.
Report Check-InStayed here last night, checked in upon arrival, they charged $10.00 on a Saturday night. There were a few other big rigs here. Have to be self contained. It’s a couple of large grassy parking lots. But it’s 10 bucks. Worked for us, and there’s Security too.
Report Check-InNice spot. $10 a night. Check in at the hotel front desk to pay your fee. You’ll get a hang tag for your vehicle. Access to restaurant, cafe and morning coffe counter. Huge beach to explore.
Report Check-InAs described. Now $10 a night except for Saturday which is $20. Easy access from the casino to the beach. You can drive on this beach!!
Report Check-InMake sure to check in at the front desk when you arrive! Really fast WiFi in the coffee shop/lobby. Take the tall grass path down to the ocean for a really pretty sunrise/sunset view! You can’t see the ocean from the parking lot but a great open area to stay the night in.
Report Check-Innice place, but they require a fully functioning bathroom onboard to allow you to stay the night. unfortunately we don't and need to continue on.
Report Check-InClean, friendly staff, beautiful location, easy access, spacious, $5 a night
Report Check-InParking lot at the back of the casino for RV's, vans, and tents. No amenities bur dark and quiet. Can hear the ocean and frogs from the camp sites. Free during the off season which is between Labor day and Memorial Day. Register at the hotel front desk. No wifi but good cell signal.
Report Check-Inlike describe. we take breakfast on the beach (you can drive on the beach)
Report Check-InUntil Memorial Day you can stay up to 2weeks for free. Campfire is allowed in your own fire pit! In off season very nice. On weekend and in season too much generators... WIFI is in the lobby and very fast.
Report Check-InThis is a very nice place to overnight as you are right at the seashore. We are here in the offseason and camping is free. This is a back, side parking area which runs along the seashore about 1/4 mile from the resort.
No services and campfires aren't allowed but you can walk into the casino for bathroom if you need. In regular season it's $5 for weeknight or $10 for fri/sat.
Bonus: Sunday breakfast for under $3 in the casino.
