Great place to unwind! On the top of the hill amongst the community. A 15 km scenic dirt road will get you here from the MR3!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Lovely community camp! The precise camping area isn’t great, just an open area (with no shade), but the camp is a great place to spend a night. There are 2 x rondavels - one with a table for cooking, the other with a sink for washing up. You can also sit in them and enjoy the shade.
The bathrooms are nice (we didn’t get hot water, but it was so hot it didn’t matter) and the views are beautiful. Some trails around for short walks.
In the evening some local boys can come and dance for a tip. We took the village tour, which we really enjoyed. They asked 120 pp, which we negotiated to 200 for 2. We learnt a lot about Swazi culture.
Worth supporting!
Report Check-InCamping is still 100 pppn
The camping spot is a grassy spot on the premises with not so much shade.
One can charge phone etc at the main areas where there kitchen is. No electricity at the campsite.
Communal bathroom needs some attention, it’s starting to look like run down (missing toilet seats e.g.)
Fantastic view and hiking trails down to the river.
