Free zoo with rescued animals, all from the area. Lots of wild monkeys too! Visitors can't feed the animals but are welcome to donate fruits and eggs for their diet. Closed on Mondays. Ample space in the parking lot with some shade and bathrooms.
Report Check-InStill open, still free and in decent condition. Nothing huge but a nice place to go for a walk
Report Check-InGreat free zoo in forrest - don't miss. Opening hours 8:00-16:00, feeding time 8:30-9:00. Like always bring a lot of bananas and a knife to enjoy feeding the birds, monkeys, pigs, tapirs... yourself.
Report Check-InA great outing for free. It takes about 90 minutes to walk the zoo with taking photos and they have a small shop for refreshments. Lots of animals as listed previously. The Jaguars are beautiful and if you go at feeding time (about 4pm on the day we went) it's really good to watch.
Report Check-InBasic but a nice small zoo. Walk in the forest in a big area with enough space for animals. All sorts of animals
Go in the afternoon when they feed the animals.
Not a destination in itself, but it for a stop if you are already nearby. Free.
