Description

The hotel is basic but staff was friendly, rooms were super clean and the shower super hot. COP 60'000 for a double room. No breakfast. Ask for rooms 208 or 209 (some of the others don't have a window). Only 3 km from the airport. There was surprisingly little air-traffic noise. The place is surrounded by all sorts of car accessory shops and workshops; just ask around.
The hotel does have a secure garage for guest vehicle (max 2.6 m high).
And just opposite is Alejandro's parqeadero: a very secure, clean and well-organized parking, COP 7000 per night, 14000 for 24 hours. The parking is maybe 30 x 15 m, surrounded by 5-6 m high walls on all sides and with a huge steel gate. No height restrictions. Alejandro and his family live on the premises so the vehicles are truly watched. It would be a safe place to leave your vehicle for weeks or months (COP 160'000 per month). Ask Alejandro if you need parts or services for your truck, he seems to know someone for each and every job.

Good, clean hotel with WiFi, hot showers, secure parking. Wanted to charge 75,000 , we haggled manager down to 60,000 for very cosy, basic double room no window. So bit pricy for bogota but close to airport, little restaurants nearby.

But the feeling is very good with the owner. And he help us to found an other place for the night.

Now it is not possible To sleep in the van in the parking.

We stayed at the parking of Alejandro (we slept in the car) and also left the car there for 23 days while visiting Cuba. In total we payed for almost 1 month parking incl 5 nights camping 170.000. Good price, very safe, Alejandro and his family live on the parking. The neighbourhood is totally fine, we didnt feel unsafe at all.
It's not recommendable to camp here when you don't have your own toilet, although Alejandro will let you use his one, you have to enter their livingroom to get to the toilet, so felt a bit uncomfortable.
The parking is very squeezy with all the other cars and trucks, so don't expect to sit nicely outside!
We used the shower 1 time in the hotel, but 10.000 pp was way too expensive for a cold shower. Sometimes we had wifi connexion from the hotel at the parking.

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Can park in their garage, or across the street where there is no height restriction. Alejandro is very nice, and will move cars around so you can fit. I think he'd probably let you sleep in the vehicle if you wanted to, but we stayed in hotel and didn't ask. Hotel has laundry service. Unless you are trying to be close to DIAN or Aduana, location is not ideal for seeing bogota. Pretty gritty area. Hotel was 60k for one extra firm double bed in very small room, parking was 7k for overnight, or 14k for 24 hours.

Alejandro's parking is a good option if you want to spend 1 or 2 days in Bogota with a mid size or big rig. If he gets room available, he can offer electrical plug in, and eventually water add up and sewer drainage. Taxi to Bogota is around 18000 COP . Hotel Hyntiva, located in same block as Alejandro 's parking offers bigger rooms as hotel Baquero, and far cheaper ( 40k instead of 60k )

Very nice little hotel with a large secure parking area for about 7-8 cars (huge campers might not fit). The hotel looks pretty new, the rooms and bathrooms were super clean and the staff were very nice (they know customer service too! :)) Comfy beds, good showers, TV with HDMI ports if you feel like watching a movie. 15-20k COP taxi to the airport. Good cheap local restaurant on the same block. 60k COP for a double room. Good wi fi.
