absolutely worth to visit this jewel in Ecuador.
advice: make a pilgrimage from the town as most people will do it.

If you go by a motorhome with 7 meters : either you must be crazy or very very lazy!

Yes, this was an interesting stop and visit - however we wouldn't recommend visiting in a larger vehicle. We're are 7.4 mts long and 4x4, and this was very difficult to turn around at the top. Yes buses go past the church, but for us the challenge of finding the right route up and turning around made this a less enjoyable visit.

Interesting climb. Was closed at noon on a Weds. But great views and crypts were open.

Very interesting church cut into the rock- face. Really worth a short stop (and climbing the steps to see inside) if you are passing. Free.
