Description

We asked two locals and both confirmed that this place is safe in Punta Uva. Other campers staid here before they said.
The place fits only 7 cars or so (be early at the weekend) and the side next to the papaya and coconut trees is unseen by the road. After 5pm we had the place for us on a Saturday.
There are houses nearby and the lady living at the corner offers showers and bathrooms. You will see the signs. She was one saying we are doing fine parking here.

The beach is awesome, the reef is ok and trucks with 3.5 m height fit in. Perfectly...

Report Check-In

During the corona virus quarantine, the road was closed by police (as beaches were closed), and locals planted about 30 trees where used to be the place where camping was possible. Cars stay about 15m away now, still possible to camp, but not as nice, and I heard from the locals that they’ll put “no parking” and “no camping” signs. So this is not an option anymore...

Stayed a week here. Best beach around in my opinion... and safe. Shower and toilet available for a fee at the camping next door.
Moved into the camping a week after, ‘cause of the corona virus. Police came and asked to leave as all beaches were being closed.

Free beech parking lot. Great swimming and some snorkelling here. Small lot but we were fine in our 6.5m long rig. Spent 4 days here and loved it!

Good and safe place. Lot of travelers come here. The beach in this point is the best. It is convenient to arrive early or in the afternoon to get place. In a córner lives Juan, who is very friendly (and Rent shower, bathroom, snorkeling equipment, kayak, SUP,etc)

Very small parking lot at a beautiful beach. Only space for max 3 rigs (front row) and maybe 1-2 parked right behind. Gets very busy with locals at weekends.
Feels safe due to the neighboring camping/restaurant Arrecife.
If you need services (water/electricity/toilets/etc.) you can go next door and ask for camping under the palm trees (not free but worth the money if you negotiate a little bit)
