Indeed a beautiful place on the beach, BUT unfortunately we were also disturbed by deafening music from the immediate neighbours on both sides which made us leave early again ! the toilets are cleaned regulary, but had no (!) lights inside and at one out of two the door couldnt be locked from inside, in fact could not even be closed. shower was cleaned too but also does not have door - so sanitary infrastructure is very very basic and could be improved with small money. owner was really friendly and helpfull so it's a pity but unfortunatelly cant recommend for now anymore.

not really big rig friendly, no way to get to the beach with a bigger car. we are 3.6m high and stayed at the parking in the back. Nice place, great to chill and watch the Fischer men.

After the very touristic Zanzibar, we are back again here. It's a very peaceful place under palmtrees direct on the beach next to a Fischer village. Don't forget to ask for the very delicious food in the restaurant. Best place to relax close to Dar.

Great place to camp. We stayed on the beach and would have camped for longer if we had time.. Owners are super friendly and made us feel at home... Quite alot of local people around but that didn't bother us... The beach is amazing for swimming but with low tide you need to walk quite far to get to the water... The bar is amazing... We were the only campers but would definitely recommend this camp site.. Camping is USD10 per person per night...

Nice relaxed Beach resort with restaurant and bar. Run by an old French lady and her husband. A lot of local fishermen on the beach in front of the bar and local pub/restaurant close by next to it, so not like the usual tourist areas of Dar and Zanzibar.

Paid 30 000tsh for a banda, double bed and 50 000tsh for an ensuite room. No hot water but western toilets. Breakfast included in price.

Bar is cheap but you must give warning if you want supper our the owner can organise a bodaboda to collect local food.

Rooms were a bit dusty but okay for none night. Would recommend calling ahead so she can make sure the rooms are clean. Ask for overland discount.

Ok for a night. Facilities were clean but no lights and shower not working.

Loud music from the next door beach bar stopped at 21.30 (weekday). As a vegetarian, i didn’t try the food since only option is catch of the day.

Official price is 9 usd / 20.000 tsh per person per night, as stated on there website.

Not so much a “resort” as a small 3 cabin place and a nice beach bar where the locals go. And this is a wonderful thing!

Camping is on the sand just next to the bar (no people at night so no worries).

Owners are lovely people.

We left our car here for a small symbolic fee when going to Zanzibar.

Definitely recommended place when going to Dar! Depending on traffic, it’ll take 30-60 minutes to downtown Dar.

Just a relax place to stay. We stood in the sand almost next to the restaurant. But there were not a lot of people so we didn’t bother.
We paid 50.000 shilling for 4 peolple. You will see a lot of fishermans and the sea is lovely! We only heard some music till midnight. But it was oké.

Nice bar area, a busy day trip place on the weekend. Basic ablutions (that are somewhat clean, however toiletseats are in need of replacement or just placement, only cold water showers with broken shower heads, no place for washing dishes or for laundrey, no bins). Showers a bit away from where you camp. Fresh, nicely prepared seafood served and bar directly on the beach. Gets very busy on the weekends with locals and some expats. $10,-pn for two persons

Nice beach resort with huts and possibility to camp. Beach camping only possible with 4x4.
Good food, bar, clean toilets and shower.
Camping is USD 10 or 22000 Tsh.
