Beautiful spot. We had no trouble getting here with a Honda Ridgeline pulling a 19 foot camper. The worst bumps were at the very beginning of the forest road pull off. There are several nice spots along this road.
Report Check-InLovely view across the Mono Lake basin. Quiet with very occasional road noise.
Report Check-InMono Mills history and remnants in the area. A few different spots here. Road is a bit sandy but don't see any vehicle having an issue, maybe more so because it's narrow between the sage on some sections. Beautiful view of the lake. I don't see any fire rings and with the wind, probably not a good idea. Usable Verizon and AT&T LTE. Yours to enjoy protect and keep clean 🌲
Report Check-Ingorgeous spot, got here just in time to watch the sun set over mono lake. made it in fine in 2wd van, road is a bit soft tho.
Report Check-Innice place. If the road (flat, a bit sandy, some ruts) is not for 2WD you can park at the paved parking lot next to route 120.
Report Check-InNice place in Inyo National Forest in a Jeffrey Pine Forest overlooking Mono Lake and the Sierra. Cold and quiet.
Report Check-InNice view on the lake and the mountains, and very quiet indeed (even though we could here coyotes at night).
The road is a quite sandy but we managed to reach a camp site (we've got a 2WD Chevy van).
