Description

Nice spot with a lot of shadow on the riverside. 100/site plus 60/p.p. And they have really good own wine. Wine testing 40/p. But we went just for the bottles. Couple of them, so please excuse the English.

What a very nice campsite along the orange river, private clean ablution, lot of shade. Highly recommend this place. Don't hesitate to do a gin tasting and enjoy a nice pizza with a view over the vineyard.

Large camp, private toilets, clean. The owner comes in the afternoon to say hello. 220R p2ppn, you can pay with card.

We really liked this place. Shady camp spots. Big Rig friendly. You are allocated your own very nice bathroom. River view. We paid R200 per night (one senior).

The restaurant is great. We took the Gin Tasting. Three flavours, generous measures, comes with tonic and ice (R50). Excellent.

Then we had pizza. These were fantastic and they come with four accompaniments- chilli, garlic, parmesan and sun dried tomatoes. About R130 each.

Very much recommend this place.

PS They have a workshop and they helped us out with a small repair.

Amazing spot next to Oranjerivier. New and clean ablutions with hot water.

Restaurant and winery are nearby with friendly staff, good affordable food and great wine. Next to wine it is also possible to do brandy and gin tastings. All tastings were R50 pp.

Camping R80pppn and R60 for the car. Recommended! Especially since it’s only a 30 minute drive from Augrabies Falls.

Very nice place in thé vineyards with a beautiful view on the orange river. Private and clean bathroom. Shade, grass, quiet. Peacefull. Nobody at the office on sunday. We were installed and someone friendly came for the payment. The sympathic old owners came later for saying hello. We paid 180 R for two because we are in retreat.

Don’t go in the weekend to this place, at 8:00 pm the disco starts and the campsite will be a parking spot. When you arrive nobody explain to you there will be a party later that evening

What an amazing place! The owner is amazing. Die Mas translates to The Mast (on a sailboat) which apparently was the owner's nickname in school. 100$R for the campsite + 60$R pp. Wine tasting was great as well. Bathrooms and showers are nice and the view from the camping spots overlooks the river. This place is definitely worth the stop.

At our last night there was a party in the Lala close to the campsite, lots of cars parking at the campsite and loud music. So if you come for your rest and if you are not a big fan of Afrikaner music, check if the Lala is open(I think only in the weekends and holidays.) But further a very nice campsite as described!

We ended up staying at this nice campsite for 5 night! It's very green and most campsites have a nice view over the orange river. The ablutions are clean and modern and each side has a braai area and most sites have electricity. There are enough trees for shade at the campsite. We did a wine tasting at the restaurant (only 3 min. walk), you can also do a brandy and gin tasting. From here to Augrabies NP it's about a 40min. drive. We can highly recommend this place!

Very nice place with a beautiful view onto the river. Every campsite has it's own braai area and most have electricity. Half of the campsites are on grass. Very nice and clean ablutions. A lot of shade due to big trees.
Also try the wine and gin tasting. We enjoyed it very much.
100 Rand per car, 60 Rand p.P.

We didnt experience a nice welcome. Try to phone without sucsesse. After a hour we reach someone on a cellphone. We were told that the campsite we use hasn’t electricity and that we must move to another one but we were already pitch . Some other travelers arive also after 5 and then the number just ringing. The bathrooms are clean and good but do not arive after 5. Next time we will go to another campsite.

Beautiful sites by the river. Shade from big trees. Most spots have water and electricity. There are four nice bathrooms with hot shower and toilet. We were the only guests and got a key of one of the bathrooms. Quiet on a Wednesday. Price: 100 rand per site, 60 rand pp.

Nice camping area overlooking the river. Plenty of grass & shade. Very nice ablutions - we had our own as campsite was quiet. Could be very peaceful apart from Day visitor site next to camping area was noisy with locals and music. Weekends may be busy as they have a Bar/ Boma open on Friday & Saturdays. We went and tasted the wine and Brandy & Gin which is very nice. R220 (100 for campsite & R60 per person)
