Closed and nobody around. Just set up for the night, other than the odd loud truck it was a good and convenient sleep.

Report Check-In

was not opened when we arrived. maybe check in is before 5?

Best food ive tried in a very long time, the shrimps are awesome and everything you order is like homemade food. you can camp for free. they have wifi, toilet and hot shower. the family is just great, very very nice people. trully recomend this place. also they let you camp even if they are not there. so if you get to the restaurant and nobody shows up just camp and soner or later they will come

At the end of our long drive we were invited in to Restaurant Ojo de Liebre as welcomed guests. The lovely family that runs the restaurant was very accommodating and stayed open so we could have dinner. They have a bathroom and shower in the back of the restaurant and they also have wifi but they claim that it is a little slow. The bathroom worked well but we didn't use the shower. There is cell reception from their location just outside of Guerrero Negro and the wifi was sufficient to check emails and other social media. The food was warm, tasty and very much appreciated. They have a very large lot that can easily fit 5-7 rigs. We were three truck and trailers and they still had lots of space to spare.

They provide free RV parking with a meal. That is a great exchange in my opinion and we felt safer parking on someone's property than we if owe had just parked on the side of the road. This option also helps to support the local economy.

We would definitely stay here again.

Very good restaurant for a very reasonable price
All the stuff incredibly friendly, ready to help you and give you advices.
A little bit noisy due to the proximity of the Mex 1

very nice place to stay the night. we had a
nice dinner at the restaurant and parked our RV at the back. Sergio took my 8 years old boys for a short trip on his horse, they had a blast!

Report Check-In

Great little spot just outside of Guerrero Negro. We spent two nights here and enjoyed camping in the garden out back. Surprisingly quiet compared to some of the other places we have stayed off the highway. We really enjoyed meeting Sergio, Rocio and Antonio and the chance to rest before continuing on our cycle tour south.

Report Check-In

Great place! The food was reasonably priced and delicious. Sergio and his family were all very friendly. We parked just behind the restaurant, and there is a washroom and shower you can use. We would recommend this place!

Report Check-In

things have changed. still welcoming but restaurant isn't open for dinner. we stayed ang got a free shower; couldn't refill our water tank, they didn't have enough water. we asked and tgey gave us their wifi, free and super fast! park behind their house before sunset and ask for permission. they said it was ok to stay for free, we still decided to take breakfadt there for courtesy. food was good but not cheap.. menu in the pictures

Report Check-In

exceptional place. those people treat you like family. they let me ride the horse, brought me at the salt factory and a political meeting. their food is delicious. very nice people. very small English.

Great stop for a night.
Not much to add, if you eat you can stay.
Don Antonio’s family is super nice and cooks great (get the Combinacion Mexicana dish).
Quiet during night.

Stayed for 3 nights and had a cool time with 2 other bicycle guys. Everything was good the internet is surprisingly super fast. Could use the restaurant kitchen for cooking meals and freeze our drinks. The only thing beware of the dogs they eat everything when you look away or leave your foods unattended. Shower not really warm and clean.

Lovely people, great place! They cooked us dinner even though the restaurant was closed that evening. Very very friendly and hospitable! The food is reasonable priced and was very good - I would totally recommend staying there for the night rather than in Guerrero Negro!

Awesome spot! We camped around back. Very friendly staff. Delicious food! Bathroom, shower, cute puppy running around. 10/10. Couldn't ask for anything better!

Report Check-In

Great place, just stayed for one night. Restaurant was closed when we arrived but still let us park for free. Hot shower! Had a bit of road noise in the night from big rig engine brakes but not terrible. Good breakfast in the am before departing. Very friendly, would recommend!

Report Check-In

Lovely attention. Sergio the owner received us in the best way and gave us a lot of information. The kitchen is delicious, cheap and abundant. Hot shower, water and electricity for free!!!

Report Check-In

Loved this place! Owner and chef Sergio is super cool - he invited us over to his kitchen and even gave us a personalised Mexican cooking class! Fish and shrimp tacos (3 per portion) are the best on the menu, shrimp soup was also great! Dinner for 2 was 200 pesos (soup, tacos and beer x 2) - large portions and super yummy! Parked next to the restaurant in the back, really quiet at night. Showers are hot, clean bathroom. We could even plug in our RV and load our tank. Sergio, his wife Rocio and Alberto are all super nice and helpful. 100% recommended! Make sure you sign their visitors' book!

Report Check-In

Perfect night in Rocio y Sergio's casa !!!!!! We had dinner and ask for staying the night. Really good dinner everything is home made. For the night we park in the back of the restaurant. There are hot shower and bathroom for free. Rocio speak a bit English and we had great conversations... on the morning, she gave me a free cooking lesson with cactus, it was awesome !!!!!!!! I recommend and more...

Really good food and friendly place! Nice place to stop!

Report Check-In

super friendly, quiet although it seems they are building so there could be noise in the morning. free camping.

Report Check-In

Wonderful people, great conversation & recommendations! Restaurant was closed Sunday evening, but Rosalia who lives in back, offered to cook anyway and unlocked the bathroom and kitchen for the night so that we had water etc. Camping was totally free, but we stayed for breakfast anyway. There's a military base near by so we faintly heard taps being played in the morning which was cool! Two dogs and a horse on property, pet friendly as well. Doesn't get much better than this for an easy, free camp on Mex-1!

Report Check-In
