Mexico
Ok, here’s the deal. We just found a restaurant with a seemingly closed camping area next to it and asked if we could camp there. There is another camp site in town just a couple blocks away, but this one is right on the beach! This beach is stunning, probably one of our favorites in the Michoacan. Highly recommend a few nights here.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Just before arriving at Caleta de Campos from the north, the road was blocked by locals (cars across the road). A young guy wielding a long metallic rod/pipe walks to me, I say “Buenas Tardes” (I speak native Spanish) and he responds “Pásele” (you may go ahead).
Report Check-Intried to get in here with our truck camper. no way. heading north to check out next one😊
Report Check-InNice spot on the beach in between two restaurants. Enough spaces for a couple rigs depending of the sizes. Plenty of spaces for tents. No hook ups but there’s access to water and a hose and there’s a toilet. We needed to call to get the gate opened. Here’s the phone number. 753-165-7938 and his name is Jesus. The spot is hard to find but they’re the right coordinates.
