Definitely worth the fee. Not a single piece of trash. Great waterfalls, laying over the 80m drop is a cool experience too. Don't forget to enter before 11.20am. Enjoy!

Awesome hike! 27K entry, but totally worth it. It funds the reserve to restore the jungle and keep it clean. Didn’t see any rubbish at all! Gradual incline on the way in, not easy but not difficult either. Well marked with guides/security along the way, so it’s super safe with your things. Many areas to swim, jump off the first waterfall, and includes a harnessed look off the edge of the 80m waterfall! We went on a Friday and we only passed a few others. ~3 hours round-trip hiking. Pack a picnic/book and spend the day there, it’s delightful! Enjoy!

If you sleep at the posada turistica with your van or at the hotel, you can ask for a paper who offers you a reduction of 5000 pesos for the entrance. But even without it it worth it !

Really nice hike and beautiful waterfall. Good swimming. Unfortunately we can only see it from above, but inquiring, I was told in the dry season there’s a trail that you can hike down. Very organized and taking care of.
There’s a restaurant you can have lunch once you reach the falls. 25.000 entrance and 15.000 meal. Worth it!

We arrived at 1230 and were not allowed to go to the waterfall as apparently no one is allowed in after 12 noon. According to the man at the entrance. And it is closed Tuesdays.

Now 25,000 for entry (foreign tourists) but you don’t need a guide. They have staff at certain checkpoints to check you have paid (you get a wristband). Trail was easy to follow. Wear sandals or shoes you don’t mind getting wet because you cross a few deep rivers. Fun at the end when you get to look over the edge wearing a harness! Allow about 3 hours.

Great little hike, very friendly people. We left a 7am and it took us about an hour to get to all the waterfalls, had the place to ourselves. It was pouring rain the entire time but still and good hike, nice maintained trail and waterfall overlook that justifies the 15kpp cost. Would do again.

Now the price for entrance is 15000 for 1 person. You can't go without guide. The have enough guides, there are waiting by the entrance.

Paid 6k entrance. Have to form a group to get in and share a guide, max 8 in a group. Share price of guide. Managed to get in without a guide. I didn't pay for parking, because I walked down from my hostel, Samay.

It took me about 90 minutes to get to the falls.
After you have looked down at the end of the world, check out the surrounding rocks behind you and see if you can spot the face. As of yet there is no story behind it. Surely one day there will be one as a bonus toerist attraction.
You can get something to eat and drink at the 'pools' just before the end of the world.

This looks cool, but tall big rigs won't be able to get in due the bar across the top of the entrance. Anything over maybe 2.75 - 3.00 meters. We couldn't get in at 3.4

parking 4000pesos, 2500pesos for waterfall. Nice hike, ca. 2h, expect to get wet and dirty. Well worth it. Good swimming possibilities. But, unfriendly lady at entrance. Dogs not allowed, apperently because they drink the water and they are worried that the dog would pee in the waterfall. The horses, cows, other dogs and people who pee, seem to be ok.
Can leave the dog chained with them. Didn't feel comfortable with it.
