Latest Check-Ins

great spot and view. quiet. decent internet. some traffic on the main road. the main campsite was closed for the season so no utilities or restroom.

Report Check-In

After season, the campground is "closed". The gate to the upper sites is closed, but access to the sites down by the boat launch are open. I checked with the Forest Service and camping is still permitted. There is no fee.
The loop that remains open has about 8 spots.

Report Check-In

CG was technically closed but there are 5 spots across the boat launch road that aren’t behind a locked gate. Another camper said local authorities don’t mind if “respectful folks overnight there” … self contained (no toilet/services) small rigs or tents only. Beautiful spot alongside the lake!

Report Check-In

Bumpy road at the end but the campground is beautiful. such a nice view on the lake and the forest behind it.
Deer also lives right at the ground and did take their breakfast when we did right at our site #7.

Report Check-In

Beautiful campground at the Atherton Creek inlet to Lower Slide Lake, a wide spot in the Gros Ventre River. Access road becomes washboard gravel road when you cross into the Bridger-Teton National Forest, but it’s definitely worth it. Pit toilets, picnic tables, and potable water available. Fees are $20 per night, $10 if you have a senior pass. Views of the lake are available from most campsites. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet campground east of Gran Teton National Park

Report Check-In

Awesome campground. Nice host. Beautiful location. Road in is fine. Suggest getting here early in the day and claim spot before heading to Teton or Jackson.
Most spots are very level.

small campground by the lake. $15 a night for a single car and single site. Best smelling pit toilet I've ever been in haha. road is mostly paved on the way in. last mile or two is gravel. not too rough. lots of pullouts on the way to this CG too.

Report Check-In

nicely layed out campground, $15 for smaller sites and $25 for a larger one. Great views over lake. Quiet and close to Teton NP.

Report Check-In

Wonderful spot, free on the down season but with no accommodations (toilet, water, etc.), which is fine for us since we normally don’t use campgrounds. Nice, level spots, quiet campground, beautiful views. We were lucky to find this spot since the Tetons really lack boondocking spots for rv’s - if you don’t want to try your hand at the super rough roads around here, try this campground first.

Report Check-In

Got here around 5 and there were a couple spots. This place is quite beautiful. Could def spend a day or two here but need to hit the road in the morning, wish I knew sooner! Decently priced at $15. And the road to get here was not bad like other comments have mentioned, might be due to recent road work upgrades. I don’t have natural signal but used a WeBoost and got two bars, I have Verizon.

Report Check-In

Managed to snag a site only because someone was leaving. No Verizon. Lovely campground. 4 bars 3G AT&T. USFS fees apply. Nice view over a lake 6 miles from NP campground.

Report Check-In

wonderful camp host was very accommodating .We pulled in close to 9pm and the host let us camp near the boat ramp.It was not a real spot but it was a great spot in our opinion.i highly recommend this place .

beautiful view! no hookups. no cell service! $15 plus $7 for second vehicle.

Report Check-In

Great campground if you can get a spot, for small rigs/small trailers. First come/first serve. $15/night. Friendly camp host. Paved, windy-narrow road with many potholes (rough road sign is serious)

Report Check-In

Came while camp site closed for season but gate open and toilets unlocked. No fees. Awesome place with amazing views over valley.

Report Check-In

$15/night. Nice campground overlooking a lake about min from Moose Junction (can either come in on Gros Ventre Rd or take Antelope Rd to Gros Ventre. About 30 tiered sites. Water and bathrooms. Bear boxes, substantial picnic table, and firepit at every site. Wood available from camp host. Beautiful views but can only see Tetons in the distance.

Report Check-In

Beautiful forest service campground about 5 miles from Gros Ventre. $7. First come.

Report Check-In

Beautiful lakeside campground with amazing views. Really friendly and helpful host too. Cost is $15 a night single pitch, $25 a night for a double pitch. Boat ramp next to the campsite and all pitched have a chunky picnic bench, bear proof food storage and big fire pits. The toilets are well maintained and there is even fresh water available. Well worth the bumpy road to get here!
