Description

A lush haven! Ablution & kitchen newly refurbished.

Small campsite in a very nice garden with lodge facilities on the premises so you can use the breakfast and bar facilities if wanted. On a farm close to Addo town, so barbed wire and fences make it a bit less appealing. Very close to Addo Elephant Park main gate. R150 for campsite for 2 people.

Latest Check-Ins

Friendly owners, with plenty of space for camping and good ablutions. Conveniently located less than 20 minutes from Addo National Park. We paid 400 Rands per night for two people and our vehicle.

Report Check-In

Nice place and quiet but 400 Rand per night, kids under 12 free.

Report Check-In

This campsite is exceptional! The owners go above and beyond to ensure a warm welcome and offer fantastic amenities including power, hot showers, and a stunning garden. Highly recommended

Report Check-In

Very nice and neat camp sites. Ablutions fresh and clean.

Report Check-In

We stayed here when the main camp of Addo was full. It’s a great alternative since it’s close to the park. The owner is very lovely and the garden/campsite is beautiful. Can highly recommend.

Report Check-In

Lovely camping site, kind owner, near Addo Elephant park entry. Great facilities, nice and clean.

Report Check-In

Nice and quite camping. Friendly owners. Abblution a bit old, but fine. We paid 300 zar for 2 persons and a car.

Report Check-In

We actually stayed here on Dec. 27, 2021. It’s a great place to stay near Addo. The owners were really incredible and went out of their way to make sure everyone was taken care of. The women’s bathrooms were outdated, but wonderful, with two full bathrooms like you would have at home (toilet, shower and sink in one private room). We would definitely go back there.

Exactly as described by other reviewers. Safe place (behind a gate), lovely campground with swimming pool. We paid 290 for 2 people.

Report Check-In

The camping ground is in the garden oft the B&B. It’s nice. Very, very quiet in the night. We paid 270R for 2 persons and a car per night.

Clean, very safe and nice campsite. On grass and most spots with a lot of shade. Fast wifi and close to the Addo NP Main Gate (11 Minutes). Nice hot showers. Even in the holiday season it was not crowed. If you don't need to stay in the park, this is your campsite. The gate for the day visitors opens one hour after the gate opens for "in park sleepers".

Report Check-In

As described by others. Flat, mainly grass sites, some with shade. Located on farm with attractive gardens around main house. Ronnie and Magda the owners very friendly and helpful. A better bet than the overpriced, cramped and sometimes very busy campsite at the main Addo National Park entrance gate just a short drive away.

Report Check-In

On our arrival, construction was taking place and construction workers were sitting around in the campsite. There was also many people walking past with a full view of the campsite. Added with the big yellow notice at the gate that you camp at own risk made us decide to leave.

Report Check-In

Nice place! Owners are working hard to upgrade a bit. Paid R420 for a family of 4.

Report Check-In

We arrived a day early near Addo NP and needed a place to stay. This is the only campsite and you really pay for it. Price now R160 pppn.

Campsite is nice, but overpriced.

Report Check-In

The only place around Addo village where you can camp with own tent. Lovely place but quite steep at R150 ppn.

Cute campground, ablution etc a little bit old, but OK. Now 300 R per place.

Very nice place. 24/7 security.

Report Check-In

A lush haven! Ablution & kitchen a bit outdated, but the surroundings and the hosts more than overcompensatie that.
