Magical campground. Beautiful sites, right on the lake with spectacular views. Road to get here is a bit of a washboard but doesn't need super high clearance. I think it's actually only about 3 miles from the main road, not 6. No mosquitos when I was here which was a treat! There's also a creek that runs on the side which is lovely for a cold dip. Great cell service on Rogers/ATT.

Can't confirm the free camping dates. According to the website which was updated for 2021 it says fees Apr-Oct. There's a self check-in box and envelopes. Fee is now $15. http://www.sitesandtrailsbc.ca/Mobile/Search/search-result.aspx?site=REC0218&districtCode=RDSQ&type=Site

Nice site in May. No mosquitos or bugs. Some campers but plenty of open spaces.

6 miles off highway down gravel road but excellent when you get there number of sites with lake views, very peaceful and well maintained pit toilets with toilet rolls better than the hotel we stayed in, in Vanvouver !! a bit bouncy on way down but made it relatively easy in campervan. free Oct to May it seems.

Very nice spot.
Not much traffic.
No mosquito yet.

Flooded campground. Lots of mosquitos. Saw a black bear and cub. No one camping here during the date. Little to no cell reception past this point. Self check in. Turned around and headed back where I left from as it was not worth it to stay even for a night.

BC parks site with about 15 drive-in sites with fire pit and picnic table on Lillooet lake. $13/site with two week maximum stay. Great for canoeing or SUPing

Nice campground, but FULL of mosquitos. The dirt road is quite bumpy. Continued down to Skookumchuck hot springs.

I love this campground but there are a thousand mosquitoes right know. I have never seen something like that. I have about 80 - 100 mosquito bites. They did not care about the repellent or even jeans.

Really nice place there. I can’t recommend this place for a big RV. The road on the last 8km is a pain...finally we made it.

Report Check-In

Place is nice if you're looking for a spot in that area but there's a lot of traffic and signs say that is not allowed to camp. We stayed for one night and no problem
only $13, you can make fire (-Thinking about equipping you) , the sound of the lake is little noisy but soothing
