Description

Nice camping just outside of town in a quiet suburb. The campsite is very green with grass and trees. Electricity and water at site, spotless ablution with hot showers. There is a swimming pool, a travel agency, a coffee shop with wi-fi. It is walking distance to a mall. They also have very nice and affordable cabins. Price for camping in low season is 85 Rand per person. (cabin for two people 315 rand)

They charge a fee for the car between 30 and 100 rand, it's not obvious how much they will charge when. It's not showed as parking fee on the bill, just the fee per person is higher.

Lovely and spacious. Beautiful people with some social business around too. Coffee shop with yummy cupcakes. And don’t forget the Flaky Hake up the road for lovely seafood and chips.

The best option if you need to park in Durban. Suitable for big rigs. WiFi is good if you park relatively close to the center of the camp.

We stayed here for six nights prior to our truck bring shipped. Central location with nearby shopping centres and restaurants. Not as noisy as we expected it to be. Ablutions ok.

It is Big Rig friendly - there are a couple of pitches that will take trucks (ours is 11T).

However, you will need to drive in through the 'out' as there is a low tree on the 'in'.

We paid 200R/night and we were happy with that.

Not bad for R95 a night/day.
Lots of nice huge trees to protect you from the intense summer sun.
They didn't seem bothered about my stealth camper van, sites are nice and level, had electric Hook up but no water or BBQ stand slab, overall pretty good and as others stated.
some wrong comments by others so ignore

this place is at a wrong location. You can find this place at Sodwana Bay but not in Durban :) - First Hand information from the owner, with whom i was in contact 😊

Report Check-In

Great location, great site, clean ablutions.
Inexpensive (R95/adult and R55/ kid, low season prices). Will come again !

Report Check-In

They showed us away - apparently you can only stay in a tent or a caravan - no campervans or “sleeping in a car/van” allowed.

Really nice spot!
R190 for 2 people.
Lots of trees and grass, supermarkets are across the road, and pretty safe area.

Report Check-In

If you have to go to Durban this is a campsite to consider. 180R for 2 Persons. The showers are nice and clean. Plenty of space. Lots of caravans around. A mall is in walking distance. The only thing we could complain is that there was no Wifi available.

Report Check-In

pas terrible !
sanitaire vieillot. eau chaude.
emplacement sur du sable donc pas très agréable.
électricité sur l'emplacement.
pas de wifi.
bruillant car la route est juste à-côtés.
nous avions prévus 2 nuits nous en sommes restés qu'une.

We stayed here in our big rig for 10 days while we organised shipping and port paperwork to return or vehicle home. It's in a good area for that, reasonably near the port.

180R p2ppn camping and a cabin starts at 380r p2ppn. No restaurant or cafe that we saw, Internet is good around the pool. lots of rules like no music, no washing vehicles etc and lots of workers leaving in morning and returning at night. Also lots of pensioners. Vibe isn't great but its practical, ablutions are clean and there is power at the pitches.

Report Check-In

nice clean and quite 180Rpn for 2. can't get internet at the campsite just next to office

very buisy, very noisy, cars and motorbikes are crossing allover the day, Busses are parking beside our site and they startet at 6 am and arrived alte in the evening and let the engine run for 30 minutes, Wifi is available at the reception in the "restaurant" but only from 9am to 3pm ! We paid 85 Rand pppn and nothing for our unimog, the manager is very friendly and helpfull, Ablutions are good and clean, there are two malls very close, Taxi to the City costs ca. 160 rand,

Same as below. We were here in june and they did not charge us for the car. Paid 85Rdpp.

Report Check-In

Nice place.
Unfortunately they charged us extra for the car. These fees are not on the price list. We were told to pay 100 rand for the car, after we complained it was reduced to 50 rand. Not a nice policy.

Report Check-In

ok for 1 night but it is not well maintained. Electricity and water not available on all sites. Mostly used as a cheap place to stay for workers in the area.
