Not receiving international guests until he gets his Gold Standard certification. Belizeans can stay at the lodge but no one is currently allowed to camp. Nice guy though. He recommended Bird’s Eye View Lodge/Yellow-Green Vireo camping (also on iO), which is where we ended up. August 3, 2021

nice lake front place, room to walk around. 20BLZ per van. toilet and shower never cleaned even though he has a few staff working. hammocks in the shade under a building.

A nice place at the lake. Wie had a good dinner for 15 US$ pp. Camping was 20 Belize$ per night. The toilet was ugly.

Nice welcoming place. Great views, nice host, good food, wel maintained lodge. A great place to be and relax.

as described. The site is really beautiful and very relaxing. the access is quite narrow in some places and trees quite low we were able to access with a RV of 24 feet. The toilets and showers are in terrible states but we were able to take our showers in an unoccupied bungalow. Wifi is very good. ideal place to land a few days. Always $ 20 B per day. The owner is very friendly.

Excelent place. 20BZD for our VW camper van, 4 people (2 sleeping in the van, 2 sleeping in camping tent). Fast WIFI

Great spacious parking lot in lovely property. As others mentioned, is wuite at night and WiFi is super fast.
Getting here wasn't easy for us, from the highway is about 8km of unpaved road and google maps couldn't give us directions all the way here so we had to ask locals for directions.

Great location for a quiet night, lots of birds in the water and in the trees.
Mick the owner has a great setup, nice cabins and grounds for campers.
Mick does great meals, but you need to book ahead for dinner, which we did and had a fabulous meal. Internet was great in the parking lot where we stayed.

Quiet, peaceful grounds near the rivers edge. Great vantage point for bird watching. Several tables undercover to relax at. Camping was 20 BZN for 2 people in a tent. We were naive to the fact that businesses are closed on Mondays in Belize and so Angie was unbelievably kind and cooked us a meal. Good information to know ahead of time!

Beautiful property, lovely owners, yummy breakfast can be arranged in advance. They don’t have a liquor licence this year, but said we could store beers in their fridge if we bought some in town. Wifi is now working and quite good. $20BZ / night for 3 people.

The place is really nice and owners nice but did really take conversation with me so was really for myself. Water refill they charge a little bit. Only charging 20 bz for one person in a tent on bicycle is to much in my opinion.

We thought the sanctuary in general would have more DIY hiking trails, but not really. However showing up here was a happy accident as it is a beautiful property right on the water with friendly hosts!

20 BZ$ for 2 people to camp. Beers were cold! No wifi at the moment, but when we were there they had 7 puppies, so no internet necessary.

Gated with big parking space and lots of grassy area for tents. A few cabins as well. Owner was in the process of rebuilding from a hurricane last month so he let us camp for free. Outhouse with refreshing water at an astounding pressure! Stayed for 2 nights
