Right were the sand starts. There is place for two cars, also large ones. Restaurant is pricy and the coffee wasn't good. WLAN was ok but not really fast.
No service but maybe one could ask at the Hotel (also for the pool) for a daily tip. Many palapas at the beach, which is super long. Great for some hours walking south. No traffic and really quiet.
Its even possible to drive directly on the beach and park around the corner.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Stayed here for one night and were woken up by police knocking on the car windows and trying to open up the passenger door. When we got out to talk to them they tried to fine us for ‘not having the right license for the car’ which
was clearly a scam. Eventually after telling alot of times that i came into the country with this license and car so its not illegal, they just left saying we would get robbed here.
(the only people trying to rob us was the police)
The beach is nice but trashy. Would not really recommend this place. Pochomil has been left deserted after the crisis unfortunately. Maybe one day in the future this place will be what it was again.
Perfect for one night and we asked the locals and they sad it’s safe, as we felt!
Very tranquilo, and just the beach :)
You can also park at the beach, but watch the tides!
