Something not right?

Description

NPS campground. Not sure on number of sites but many. Clean, quiet, bathrooms, dump station, water, and the usual Park Service $30/night and Park Pass required. Has senior discounts for both. WiFi sketchy for AT&T, wife’s Verizon a little better.

Latest Check-Ins

Stayed on the A loop, generators prohibited, 20 ft max length. Loop C is for the bigger RVs and that loop allows generators during limited hours. B and D are tent loops. Peaceful, could hear the crashing of the waves at high tide and some foghorns. Roadway not that busy, probably compared to other places in the park. Nearby short trails are Wonderland and Ship Harbor that get you right onto the water. Took maybe 45 minutes to get to the North Ridge Trail parking lot for Cadillac hike. Rather prefer this area to the busier side of the island. And maybe even the best is the Schoodic Woods campground- you can take a passenger ferry during peak season here to Mount Desert Island and use the shuttle busses to get around instead of hassling with traffic.
