Description
The best hostel in the area but still basic. The very friendly and helpful owners (Familia Cobos) can help with all the trails and ruins in the area. Park here and it's a good 3-4 hours to visit both Vitcos and Nutsa Hispana, the white rock, which is worth it. I camped right in front and they let me use the bathrooms, I gave 10 for the bathrooms and all the information they shared

I think this post is refering to the "pension" hospedaje in town. It is also known as the sixpac manco and is owned by the cobos family. It is the first of 3 accomodations when you come into town - however it was the only one that looked open when we were here.There are actually 2 locations of this hospedaje within this town.
20soles per person. Simple room with shared bathroom. Clean. Hot showers. No wifi. secure parking for motos and likely vehicles.
The owner is fantastic and made us dinner and breakfast as well as served us up on the balcony if the accomodation (10soles per person for dinner). She was incredibly accomodating and I would definately recommend this place to any traveller.

Report Check-InThese images do not belong to the sixpacmanco hostel and the owners are the owners of this accommodation, Chavez, the real sixpac manco hostel is 100mt. in the direction of the archaeological site a large space of 1500m2, 22 double and triple rooms, a bar, hot showers, camping areas, comfortable prices 20 soles per bed and belong to the Cobos de Tejada brothers. I think those who were there were cheated and cheated. Soon we will advertise through the website as VILCABAMBA ADVENTURS
Report Check-InGreat place. Very friendly family. Parking, and bikes can go undercover. Twin room 40sol, 2 bathrooms downstairs, one with hot shower. They made us dinner for 8sol each an it was very tasty; best soup we've had! Little shop about 50m down the hill on right. Good stop off on a long dirt road journey. No wifi. Lovely location.
