A nice flat sandy cliff overlooking the ocean and Playa China. A few houses dot the coast in this area but most seemed empty when we were here. There are some garbage cans and signs on the site asking you to keep the area clean( which it is). To get here, take the Puerto Santo Tomas turn from Hwy 1. It is a very long bumpy ride. About 30 km from Hwy 1 that will take approx 1.5 hrs.

Was here for 5 nights during christmas. Beautiful and peaceful place, amazing view and very friendly neighbors.
Report Check-InAs described, big flat lot overlooking a wonderful beach and coastline. Very friendly American expats live nearby.
Report Check-InGreat view but very windy. Looks like private property but spoke with the neighbor and so called "security" man and both told us it is free to stay here. Both were very friendly.
@ginger_tc_adventures
we did not see a security guard. stayed here one night and it was pleasant. felt very safe. Locals waved at us as they drove by. some of the buildings look to be abandoned. saw dolphins in the morning. cows and horses free range here. also made friends with a local's dog. he was so friendly, wore a collar and seemed well cared for.
Report Check-InStopped here for a quick night on our way south, which worked okay. There was tons and tons of trash/broken bottles/low tide smell, and the artichoke farm is not letting anyone stay on the cliffs. There was also a water pump on for most of the night. There are better places not too far south!
Report Check-InBEAUTIFUL!!! The security guy is really nice abd he lets people stay at the cliff for free during the winter.
What an amazing view from the tent.
Keep it clean folks! :)
