This spot is inside the Salinas and it is permitted to camp here. Just pay your 10 Soles at the entrance. The Spot is super quiet from the evening on and the view is incredible!
We also drove down to visit the Salinas. We recommend to take a guide, its on donation (we gave 30) and he can tell you a lot about the sal.

Stayed 1 night. Nice place, not really flat but we found an ok spot. Very windy but at night and early morning not anymore. Amazing views directly over the salt pans. Paid 10 entrance around 6.30PM and were allowed to spend the night. In the morning from 7.00 am some minivans came, at 10, is was crazy busy with touring busses to salineras. Best to fo before. Little bit signal
