Description

You can sleep here after you do the hike to Los Picachos Ola. Not big rig friendly (we almost didn’t drive through the gate as we are very wide (2m3).
It’s 2$ per person to hike and 5$ for the van to sleep (no toilet or shower)
4G +Movil
FYI: we couldn’t reach the summit as one of us has height fears. The end is like climbing on an edge..

Latest Check-Ins

We arrived just before sunset and we were only charged $2/pp for the hike. No additional charge for overnight camping.

Entry into the parking lot was difficult in our Promaster. It’s steep and muddy. We barely made it in, so we slept on a pretty big slope 😂

This hike is quite weather dependent. In the evening it was windy, lightly raining and the trail was so slippery. We had a tough time getting up to the ridge.

In the morning it was much less sketchy, but the last part of the hike is quite steep with sharp drops on either side. We decided not to climb to the summit because of the potential difficulty for getting back down. We did enjoy beautiful views from the ridge though ☺️

Report Check-In

$2/pp for hiking and $5 for the van to sleep there. I’d recommend getting there for sunset so you can do the hike for sunset and sunrise. It’s beautiful! There are two spaces that are somewhat level. Will probably need to use rocks or boards to get it nice.
