Small site beside boat launch located just after you cross covered bridge. Now a tubing business with a larger, gravel parking lot. Best for stays before or beyond tube season.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
There’s a big, flat parking lot for tubing. We parked in the corner and had no troubles - even with the neighbours across the road partying at a campfire, they didn’t say anything. There are cameras on the lot and it is a business. With this in mind, it’s definitely more of a convenient quiet spot vs a wild camp stay.
Report Check-InSpoke with the owner - there is now a tubing business set up on the property next to the boat launch.
He was happy for me to stay the night, but clear that as of June 1st it will be operating as a tubing business. So I think turn up and ask if you are visiting after that.
Nice spot though and quiet road at this time.
Report Check-InSite très boueux!! Étant en minivan, nous n'avons même pas essayer de passer. Probablement que c'est un super endroit pour passer la nuit si on a un 4x4 ou que le chemin est sec.
