No problem here to spent a night. But I did ask the permission before. There was a few RV. Quite when you park away from the hyw.

Saw a bunch of other RVs parked far away from the Walmart building. A bit noisy at night but still got a good sleep. Walmart closes at 11pm

Just an update to my previous post. We spent the night in the parking lot here, but chose poorly in our spot. We realized at about 9 last night that the fenced in area we parked by in the lot infront of the garden/auto side was a busy place for the night shift. They are doing some major renos inside the store and the night time is the time to get the work done. A forklift was busy unloading stuff from a semi trailer right beside us, and the crew took the opportunity to blast, very loudly, country music (which we actually like!) We’re pretty sure it was for our benefit. But we stayed strong and did not relocate, lol! After about 10:30 they seemed to have everything they needed for the night’s work and we spent a peaceful night. This is just a heads up while this store gets redone not to park in front of the store by the chain link fenced area. Better to park on the side of the building beside the auto department.

Called store and got permission to stay overnight in the auto/garden centre side of lot. There is some construction type fences in this area of the lot, but we were able to get our truck and 25ft trailer tucked in on the far side of the parking lot.

Parking permission requested and granted for the night.
We appreciate it because it is not easy to find accessible spots in Montana, "no parking overnight" bans are everywhere.
We are several travelers

Typical Walmart. Lots of overnight campers (probably like 20), but there was still plenty of room by the garden center so everyone had a few spots between them.

The standard Walmart parking lot. Was pretty crowded for a Wednesday night (RVs, trailers, vans, cars) but everyone was respectful & quiet. Park in the far corner by garden/auto center & if you choose wisely, you should have some great views. Plenty of restaurants, shopping, & hiking nearby. Resting place of Evel Knievel is across the street. Make sure you pay your respects before leaving town.

Asked the Customer Services in store about overnight parking. They allow it if you park in the corner by the garden center. There were a dozen other RVs parked up. There's use of the toilet and free wifi. I think the store closes at 11pm

Basic walmart parking lot, pretty empty during the night time. We stayed in our van in the far left parking lot as you enter.

Margery’s quiet Walmart. Park near auto center. We were the only RV and very peaceful and can access Walmart wifi. Nice clean store also

Lots of RVs in parking lot closest to the Auto Center. Reasonably quiet.

Park on the right side near the Auto Center. They have electric outlets along the entire side closest to the grass. People using them with no problem. Nice Walmart with good amount of grass for the dogs.

Great overnight location. Plenty of parking, was safe, not very much noise. Had about 15 other rigs, no issues. Even got free wifi
