Amazing place, spotting rhino's is almost guaranteed. If you are on public transport, don't worry about getting to the camp, you can just walk from the street to the gate and guards will guide you from there

Report Check-In

An absolutely amazing place to stay. We saw Elephant, Rhino and Hippo's at the water hole in front of the lodge. We were the only campers. Definitely recommend this place. Probably the cheapest game drive in Africa, with Lion, Rhino's, Giraffe all seen. Quick note to those mentioning Lion's roaring all night, that's Eland making the noise, the Lions area is much further away from the camp site.
Definitely a must visit location.

our third time here. we loved it.
quiet and peaceful. we saw a lot of birds. some impalas in the campsite.hot water in the shower by donkey so ask when they switch on the fire ! ;-)
brai, water, shadow. no electricity even in the ablutions block (they switch on fire lights by night). no drinkable water and bring your own food because no shop (big mall at 3 kilometers north at Siminye).
some minutes walking from the bar, restaurant, shop and the waterhole with giraffes, hippos and rhinos.
145 rands pppn. cash or credit cards.

Report Check-In

Very nice! Campsite is spacious, clean ablutions but water wasn't hot. No electricity so quite dark in the evening. You can charge your phone at the bar. We saw many rhinos, giraffes and some hippos at the pool in front of the restaurant. We did the sunrise game drive and saw 3 lions, and some elephants. Awesome.
WiFi was working, costs 50 for 500 mb.
We've also been to Mlilwane, but this place is not as busy and much much nicer!

Report Check-In

Great NP campsite. Big sites with brais, clean ablutions. Listened to lions all night and watched rhinos at the campsite waterhole. 150 rand pp plus 80 rand conservancy fee. Wifi was not working, weak cell on MTN. Recommend walking safari, knowledgeable and interesting Swazi guides, 270 rand pp.

Report Check-In

amazing, simply amazing. clean, cute park with friendly staff. good food with view on rhinos and girafs. feels like a dream sleeping here. walks and drives in the park are very nice. if you pass here you have to camp and visit this place. magical!

Report Check-In

A lovely campsite we thoroughly enjoyed it, we spent 2 nights here. Nice grassy stands with a bit of shade and a raised fire pit. If you want to see Rhinos this is the place to go, we saw them on every drive and even saw seven of them all together on evening. Lovely clean ablutions and well maintained facilities, we did however have cold showers on both nights so I recommend checking at the back of the ablution that they have the fire going for the donkey boiler before going to shower. R80 pppn conservation fee and R145 pppn camping fee.

Report Check-In

Wild card free entry. Muddy this time of year. Burger average, you are better of with toasted sandwiches at halfprice. Milkshake ok. Wifi need to pay. Camping 130 pp

Not sure if the ranger was lazy or what but the routes he told us we could do added up to less than 10 km…

Report Check-In

What a fantastic place!!
Caaaalm campsite with a view to lagoon where you see all kinds of animals. The moment I got here, I saw five rhinos together. FIVE! Never seen one before.
At the next day I paid 430 rand to do a 2,5 hour safari with an amazing guide. In the first hour we saw two male lions, antilopes, rhinos and elephants.
As I write now It is 5.30 am and I am in my tent. Lions ans hippos woke me up.
Also, the food is delicious.

super camping, grand emplacement et restaurant avec terrase vue sur le plan d'eau. eau chaude. pas d'électricité à l'époque ou nous y avons été. je recommande ☺️

Report Check-In

Love it so much that we had to return for more! As described below, rhinos visit the waterhole early in the morning and late afternoon. Super friendly staff, delicious food at the restaurant (terrace overlooks the waterhole), free firewood. Lions roar at night and the self-drive tracks are stunning! Visit hippo pool picnic site for breakfast or lunch - free firewood there, as well!

Report Check-In

Back for another great time! Love the oil lamp lit camp; it gives a magical feel. Saw an abundance of wild life at the waterhole and driving through the park ourselves.

Report Check-In

Waterhole maintenance is now finished.
The hippos and crocs moved back into it. Rhinos, Elephants and different antelopes come for drinking.

Still 60 conservation fee (or free with wild card)
Camping 130 pppn.

Campsite has new benches and tables.

Report Check-In

A nice basic campground with great showers and toilets. The watering hole is opposite the lodge / restaurant, Nhalas inside the camp gates, we saw 5 Rhinos 2minutes into our self drive from Ndlovu camp. Small but worthwhile.

Report Check-In

Nice place. Rhinos come every day. The 'old' waterhole is muddy bit walk to the right and there is another where the Rhinos come at sunset, if you stay on the deck chairs you can miss them so walk around.

Reasonable game drives where you can see lions & elephants. Nyalas and Impalas inside the camp fence too.

No power at pitches though.

Report Check-In

Waterhole still under construction. Elephants and rhinos are easy to spot on a game drive.

Big campsite with fire place and bench/table.
Free firewood - can be fetched behind ablution block.

Still no electricity.

Good signal with MTN and swazi Mobile.

Entrance 60 E pppn or wild card
Camping 130 E pppn

There is road noise from the main road. But you will also hear the lions roar.

No selfdrive in the lion area - one needs to jump on a guided game drive to see them.

Report Check-In

Nice place. Stayed for two nights and did a sunrise gamedrive.
Had no luck with rhinos at the waterhole but enjoyed anyway...

Report Check-In

Waterhole is still empty, but we were still visited by 7 rhino's in the end of the afternoon, magical! They explained that they want to digg out the mud from the waterhole and expect to make a new waterhole at the end of July.

Wifi password still works, thanks!

Report Check-In

130pppn for camping. Waterhole still dry, rhinos came nevertheless at dusk and dawn. Pretty amazing! Free firewood.

Report Check-In

Super disappointed! The waterhole by the camp is empty! Supposedly to dig it deeper. Did see rhino and impala, but missed the hippo and birds. Hopefully it will be all good again soon.

Price update 2019: park fee R60, campsite R195 pp. Great place, well organized and friendly staff.

Report Check-In

Still love this place! Quite a bush experience except for a bit of road noise. Hear lions roar at night. Been coming here since 2014. No power limits the campers even during holiday seasons. 😋 love the waterhole in walking distance from camp to watch the wildlife at dawn and dusk. Be sure to have your own water as the tap water a bit yellow.

Nothing special for this price.

Basic but nice campsite. No electricity at all, but they provide firewood and have gas lamps in the ablutions, which makes for a nice atmosphere in my opinion.

Report Check-In

we paid 50 pp for the park. Campsite is nice, Ablutions ok, unfortunately we had 4 big Groups of Southafricans at the campsite, so I think i mustn't say more....... at our Game drive at 6 o'clock in the morning (345pp) we saw 6 lions, 1 Elephant and ca. 20 Rhinos. that was amazing.

Report Check-In

Stayed two nights, 115E pppn. Ablutions clean. Warm water, no electricity. Some staff very friendly, others not. Were the only ones camping, two couples in cottages. Very quiet. Waterhole near restaurant. Heard lions at night and saw impala and Kudu/Nyala on campsite. During self drive safari we saw giraffes, elephants, warthogs and antelopes.

Report Check-In

Nice Campsite between trees, 115 ppn, children 3-12 half price. No self drive possibility for trucks due to small tracks and low trees!!! No electricity, big viewpoint at waterhole

Report Check-In

Always a fabulous place to camp. Largely because the waterhole is just a short walk away. Elephants and rhino are frequent visitors at dusk and dawn. Plenty of room to camp. Ablutions well kept up. Can hear lions roar at night. Nice restaurant overlooking waterhole.

Report Check-In

35 rand entrance, 115 for camping. Could pay by card at bar.
To see lions there is a Sunrise tour at 5:30am 345 rand. The same tour is done a few times during the day with the last one being the sunset tour at 4pm. If you want to see rhinos, it is a separate tour.
