access closed, roads fenced off .

Report Check-In

Forget about this one unless you are on a bike or a horse. The road is washed out from the east and blocked off from the west. There is an arroyo a couple km east of these coordinates which is good for camping. Gives access to a great sandy beach which was good for swimming when we were there. Walked to the abondanded houses for coconuts! Delicious

Report Check-In

Totally inaccessible! We tried going from both directions. Road is closed off due to severe washouts. Don’t waste your time.

It's a nice location right on the beach. Its still opened and not closed down as mentioned on the other post. There is a fence up on that dirt road but this check-in is just 200 meters before that. Those empty houses are still here where you can pick your own coconuts.
To get here, take the main new paved road whats not marked here on this app. Google knows it and also our Garmin did. Drive just a little bit futher north if you are coming from Cabos as we did. There is a paved road on your right without any signs indicating where it leads. The turnoff Is at N23.13086 W109.56118. Drive on the middle of the road as the roadsides are washed away in many places. Half way through the asphalt turns into the concrete road and it will take you to the water. Turn right at the end of that and then its 1,8km to this spot. Dirt road was ok but heavily washed away in some places. No 4wd needed

This place is permanently closed.

Report Check-In

As of a week ago the road in both directions is closed as they are building a golf course/hotel/offices. If you have a 4x4 you might still be able to access it via the beach. There are a couple of options further on (you can use the new road at the far end of the complex to get to the beach but access is tricky and the track soft.

Stayed one night here. Nice spot fairly close to the beach but no shade. Not a swimming area but the views are stunning. Some houses nearby but they aren't occupied. Tip: collect some coconuts from the trees near the houses - so delicious!

Report Check-In

Stayed at a couple different beaches in this stretch... Some alone and some with other campers. Always felt safe and there was even a guy who came along to sell produce and ICE CREAM out of his truck once a week.

Report Check-In

- there is a brand new road to Cabo two kilometres north-west from this place
- waves were too dangerous to swim during our stay

Report Check-In

Spectacular private beach spots along this stretch of coast. Watch for a variety of short roads towards the water. There are some stunning sites along here, with no facilities. Keep your eyes on the road--there are major sections washed out as of (12/15), also tons of pot holes, and barbed wire down. No fees, lots of accessible beach camping. Friendly locals. Not much for groceries or water after San Jose del Cabo--stock up there, you'll want to stay a while!

Report Check-In

We camped just south of this spot (just outside of Santa Cruz de la Zacatitos). On the beach...water is amazingly blue. We also heard Zac's restaurant in town (marked by surfboard) is great but we got there before they opened. Free spot!

Nice beach with no facilities. Free. :)

Free beach campsite on the east cape of Baja -- stunning and quite lonesome when we were there in December. ~USD Free
