Mexico
Very nice little family campground. Some English spoken. 200 per night/vehicle and 50 for a warm shower. They have a small shop and they are 600 meters distance from the piramides.
I loved it so much!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This was our 2nd time camping here. We camped here in January while driving south & then again on the drive north. Unfortunately our timing sucked! It’s Benito Juárez holiday & spring equinox. So this area at pyramids has fiestas, & special events everywhere this week. Also there was a running event. Then Semana Santa week is next. 3 huge events all around this campsite last night. Loud & I mean loud music next door until 3am. The entire 4runner was vibrating with the bass. Probably 30-40 tents next door at that event. You could Feel the bass booming. At night we walked to the International Obsidian festival with locals from campo.
This is a great campsite. Best during week & not on local holidays or celebrations. Owner is very kind & helpful. Best to text ahead of time to verify they have space.
Note: gate to get in has changed & it’s easier to get into the grass area. Trailers & big rigs can camp in dirt lot right next to his fence.
$200 pesos for Toyota 4runner/2 people.
Report Check-InTried to enter, too sharp and narrow, couldn’t make the turn in and the plastic fencing was clipping my side mirrors, had to leave and go into town. Traveling in a short bed crew cab F-150.
Report Check-InGreat place to stay two nights while visiting the pyramids! Quiet, friendly, secure. Francisco is very nice. 200 per night includes power and water. Three friendly dogs (I don't know if they are friendly to visiting dogs). Small rigs only. Space for maybe 6 rigs.
Report Check-Inperfect place to stay & check out the pyramids. super friendly owners. 200 pesos per vehicle. stayed 1 night
Report Check-InNice little campground. Francisco & his son were very helpful. 200 pesos per night & 50 for a hot shower. Clean banos. We stayed here so we could walk to the Teotihuacán pyramids. We stayed 2 nights. Easy location to find. Take the Arco Norte toll road to avoid any “Hoy no circular” problems with Mexico City. Note: Tight left handed turn into campground that’s flat with grass. For longer setups or rigs with trailers he has a separate dirt lot. I would recommend this campsite to anyone traveling through Mexico.
Report Check-InCute little campground. The owner was really nice and helpful. He said the pitch the tent anywhere we want. Clean toilets and shower. The internet is OK. And the location is perfect, because the archeological site is pretty close. Oh and the dogs are really cute as well.
Report Check-In200$ per camper, 50$ extra for shower. Francisco is very nice and shows you around on their property. Kids can speak english. Campsite is nothing special but calm.. toilets are not the cleanest. You can also store your car here for 100$ per day. The 'guard dog' Esperancita is the cutest!! give her some treats if you have ;)
Report Check-InThis place is open ! we stayed two days with two others campervans.
Very friendly owner. quiet and safe place.
Very beautiful and amazing place to be at. Lots of amenities and very close to the pyramids. The owner and his staff are really nice. As a plus they speak English and Spanish fluently. Will definitely come again.
