Description

Free gravel route to the river but we stayed on top of the route and had a beautiful view of the river. Even had a campfire pit. Very quiet. Short drive off Highway 99.

Latest Check-Ins

Spent a night here at the top. Still some patches of snow here and there and no clearance to make it down to the river. Great views of the valley and the river covers the highway noise.

Report Check-In

accessible even with snow (for now). tracks going to the first two pull outs, we stayed on the top one due just to be safe. nice view, river white noise.

Report Check-In

Right off the road. Three good level spots accessible for a van. A few spots closer to the river only with a tough vehicle. A bit of industrial garbage lying about, but nice wind, decent view, no bugs. Road noise mostly drowned out by the river. Nobody else here.

Report Check-In

Previous descriptions are accurate. Wouldn’t chance the road down to the water in our promaster- not enough clearance. Got the spot at the top - other than construction garbage it was lovely. Second pic is looking up from the road to the river.

Report Check-In

Not much to add but spent a few nights here. Spots do fill up so not one you can always roll into late at night during peak season. Great 5G service with Bell.

Report Check-In

Very Nice place! Quiet and good view. Stayed one night and had no problems.

We stayed here five nights mostly undisturbed. On the weekend two more vans showed up but we were not bothered. Felt very safe. Beautiful view from the top of the hill campsite — took my breath away. Can hear the highway a little but the river mostly masks it. The hill down towards the river looked too hard for our 2WD minischool bus, but someone with less clearance than us made it down. I recommend this spot. Other spots under the powerlines, closer to the highway and further down towards the river, however, I do believe we had the best one.

Report Check-In

Unmarked gravel road/pullout on the river side of the highway (left if driving from Pemberton to Whistler). There's one small level site to your immediate right (van was already here when we drove in) or space for two vehicles about 50 metres down a slightly declined gravel road for 50m with a few firepits overlooking the river. You'll then see a gravel road continuing towards the river but we opted to stay up higher as we're a truck camper without much clearance. Great level site, quiet area and the river covers most of the highway noise.

Report Check-In

Great spot, I took one closer to the river so practically no highway noise, only that of the water. Some other people came through and took various other spots but the one I got had excellent privacy. I was able to get down in my 2wd truck with all terrain tires but probably wouldn’t recommend venturing down to the lower spots in any type of low clearance vehicle. 10 min drive from Pemberton and 20 from Whistler, an excellent option if you’ll be doing things in either of these places.

spent two nights here on a dietary fast, nice spot though not big rig friendly & the river’s too fast for more than a splash

Report Check-In

Very nice spot, accessible with my small van. There’s a lot of spots available with fire pits. Nice view of the river under the power line. We stayed close to the highway cause our car couldnt go further but we couldn’t really hear the highway. Overall very good!

Report Check-In

I would not rate this place as big rig friendly, unless you park on the road leading to other site on the left.

Report Check-In

great flat spot near water. pretty quiet except in morning but not overalls noisy

Report Check-In

Multiple spots available. Can go drive down as far as close to the river. I parked on top of the hill overlooking the amazing river.

Report Check-In

Just off the highway. Multiple hidden spots. You can go down as far as close to the river with fire pits. 1 bar on Rogers cell service.

Report Check-In

Nice rocky lot with great views overlooking the river. Don't turn left as you head in as that road has been blocked off and leads nowhere, had to reverse up round a tight steep corner to get back up. Fairly busy.

Report Check-In

Couple of spots in a rocky lot. Probably not great for a big rig. If you continue down the road it loops down to a gorgeous spot right by the river. We stayed up top because we came in late. It was quiet at night but as soon as it's daylight the highway gets very busy and loud. There's also a LOT of broken glass lying around.

Report Check-In

Good spot by the water obscured from the entrance with a few fire pits. Just be careful of the broken glass on the sides at the end of the road.

Report Check-In

Plenty of options for tents down close to the river. Private, river drowns out traffic noise.

Report Check-In

One of our favorite site! We went all the way down on the gravel road and we were alone beside the river!

Be careful if you have a big van because the road is very narrow and it’s hard to turn around near the river.

Report Check-In

As described in previous reviews. Place for a few vehicles along the road. Near river.

Report Check-In

Cool spots along the rocky track (300 m) that leads to the river. Big rig easy at the entrance.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for one night. It is actually a snow mobile access area and a pay station is set up there in the winter months. Left at 7am someone was already at the work but they didn't seem to care at all. A few freights went past in the night apparently. I didn't hear them but they woke my girlfriend.

Report Check-In

Very pretty spot right off the road.
