Latest Check-Ins

As described, clean and quiet. Plenty of room to overnight including few established sites with fire rings. And picnic tables.

Lots of boat trailers and parked trucks, most likely hunters traveling up river.

Access road was good, should be no problem with 2 wd rigs.

At over 4 k from the highway, there is no vehicle noise.

Report Check-In

Arrived late. Lots of large, flat open sites. Quite a ways off the highway. Easy dirt road. Mix of RVers, campers, Overlanders and fishermen.

Report Check-In

As described previously. This site isn’t busy, only one other camper when we were here. Lots of privacy and very peaceful. More of a rustic campsite that is only occasionally maintained but the outhouse was clean and the sites had been brushed out at some point this spring.

Nice spot, quiet, Pit toilet is freshly renovated. Mosquitoes, but where are they not?

Report Check-In

Nice spot, road was no issue for a 2WD van (can't see it being a problem unless there was heavy rain). Scenic, nice river, lots of parked pickups with no people and only 1 other camper when we were here. Lots of mosquitoes, but that is life in the north...!

Report Check-In

It was so nice and peaceful here. There were several sites and the sounds of the river is relaxing.

Report Check-In

Good free place for an overnight camp or even to spend a couple of days (no facilities tho). Picnic table, fire ring and a lot of space. Many pickup trucks parked (because of the boat ramp) but no one around except myself and another Overlander.

Drive is easy to manage with a 2wheel drive. Nice open area next to the river, many fishers around. Shelter for cooking in bad weather. Each campsite has a firepit and its own table. Would recommend!

Report Check-In

A beautiful place near the river. It was labour day weekend, but we were alone. Only a few Pickups with boattrailers around.

Report Check-In

Great site on the river. Quite a lot of mosquitos, but it's beautiful. Has shelter, picnic table, firepit. The road was good to drive inside even when it's wet.

Report Check-In

Has shelter for cooking and drying out... I was here on Victoria weekend, a long weekend in BC. There was one truck parked, no people. All I heard was the river and leaves rustling in the wind.

Report Check-In

Nice open place next to the river. It was a little bit busy during our stay because of a lot of hunters launching their boats here.

Very nice! Big place at the river on natural stones. Pit toilet. Saw 2 bears at the gravel road when we arrived in the evening
