We stayed 2 nights here in a rtt parked in the car park. You have a bay next to a shelter which has electricity, lighting and a table and chairs and we had use of a nice room with a hot shower and flushing toilet. There is a bar, restaurant and terrace and free WiFi. Nice views over the city. We were made to feel very welcome. It's a good location to walk to things in the city, we walked about 40 mins to the genocide memorial and 30 mins 1 night to some nice restaurants. It is quiet after about 10pm in the evening. 10USD pppn with use of an outside toilet only (very clean) or for use of the room and full bathroom an extra 10 USD per night.

Aftet looking for a few places to camp with rooftop tent in Kigali, we found Step Town Hotel. They allow camping with rooftop tent in the car park. There is covered area wiyh chairs and table for use. We enjoyed our stay and the staff are very (especially Emmanual) was very helpful and accomodating. They also gave us permission to park our car here for a few days after outlr stay. Felt very safe. Highly recommended.

Still Possible to Camp at the Car Park.

Wifi works also in the Car Park and everybody is very friendly, they also let us fill up water!

Good place in the city. As previously described. Prices now $15 for 2 people per night. Camped next to a shelter which has lighting and power. Recommended.

Very good place. Nice people. Close to town. 2,5 km walking to genocide memorial. Good restaurant. Clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Fast WiFi. Nice place to relax. We stayed in a room for 3 days but sleeping in own car at parking lot is also possible. Highly recommended.

still 15000 to camp (big motorhome, 5 people) with access to a room for ablutions (great hot shower). food is good with big portions. super friendly staff

could spend the night at the Hotel parking area in our camper. used warm shower in guestroom. super friendly employees. very clean and quiet at night, easy walks to museums and interesting places in town. MaWe from Switzerland

Highly recommend. We parked our truck level, in their parking area and ended staying 4 nights! Facilities are fantastic. 15 000 for sleeping in your car for 2 people and for 20 000 it includes breakfast. Meals are delicious. Good value for money. Huge portions and very tasty. Beef cordon bleu and chicken curry was great. Water available at outside taps. We plugged in behind the water tank. If you think not bug rig friendly check out my photos. You definitely can park a big rig there. A huge overlander parked next to us. Wifi etc etc. John the manager marked all the required shopping spots for us in my maps including where to park our truck. All staff are very friendly. An hour full body massage for 10000 F. I didn't do it but saw the massage room. Looked professional. We enjoyed our stay.

A great location- we camped at the parking for 15.000 Fr Breakfast included. We could take a shower in a room- very friendly manager and very friendly employés-good restaurant-we recommend this Place

Nice place in a neighborhood. They let us park outside in the driveway for 15,000 per night and use a room for toilet and shower. Good bar and restaurant (though we didn’t try the food). They will wash your car and do laundry for a small fee (we did a good sized bag for about $6 USD). Easy walk to restaurants and Genocide Museum. Beautiful city, safe and clean. Best thing was that the neighborhood is very quiet, bar closes at 10, so we could get a good night’s sleep.

We checked the place but at the end choosed an other place. You can park there and set up the rooftent and use the shower/toilet of a room for 17000 RwF.
They offered the double-room with breakfast for 50$.
We think it's a nice place near the citycentre.

Great ensuite double room with mosquito net and TV. Very clean and comfortable with a nice hot shower. Food good (not amazing). Staff lovely, and our car was washed while parked in the secure car park. Reasonable WiFi.
We negotiated US$55 for the room for the night, breakfast included.

A room is 50 USD incl breakfast.
Great shower and private terrace which was nice. Good location and safe parking also.

Hotel is on a Hill, very close to the City Center. Access only via Dirt Track (no Problem for 2WD). We had to use some Stones to level the Car as the whole Car Park is not flat. Space for max. 6-8 Overlanders. We used the public (clean) Toilets and in the Morning they got a Room for us to Shower. Unfortunately that Room changed every Day and was only available in the Morning as they were quite booked out. Nice Views and City Center in walking Distance. It was very quite when we were there. Fat and free Wifi. Friendly Staff. Also paid 10.000 RFr (10 Euro) for the two of us (5.000 RFr pppn).

Excellent small hotel just down from the main city centre. Great rooms and fantastically helpful staff. We broke a key and they went of to get us a new one cut. Bar terrace overlooking the valley and hill away from city centre

Notwithstanding the fact that camping on a small parking lot to me is very uncomfortable, this is an excellent choice nonetheless! Staff is friendly, location is great (walking distance from memorial, Mille Colline and many shops and supermarkets), and the food is fantastic! Try the chefs salad for a great vegetable boost. ;-)
Stayed here for two (vert noisy) nights at 10.000 pppn. Very clean ablutions from a room.

After searching for a while, we found this nice hotel with a great view over the city! Manager and staff are very friendly and acommodating! We paid for camping on the parking 10000 rwf for the two of us per night. They gave us a room for showering. We also took breakfast for 2500 p.p. wich was very good! for us this was the best option in town!!
