Argentina
basic campsite, 1.200 pesos for 1 person 1 night, no hot water or wifi, but electricity and clean bathrooms... landed here because the strong winds made cycling on nearly impossible, was happy to have protection from the wind
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Tried to stop here before crossing the border. Very closed and no one around. Ended up at the cemetery.
Report Check-Ingood camping! quiet! we payed 5000pesos per person. amazing hot shower!!!
Report Check-InGood place, sometimes need wait for hot water, in front of puente del Inca, there eletricit and water.
Report Check-Inwe stayed here one night before crossing to Chile. we didn't have ARS left so we paid 13 USD for motorhome and 4 people. the way was very irritating, you enter a ripio path between an old sign 'hosteria' and the little escuela, then over old railway, which is a bit tricky, go slowly and then left! View is wonderful! showers didn't work properly but it was okay for a night.
Report Check-InCamper here overnight before crossing into Chile. We did have hot water and shower was great, picnic tables and chairs and amazing views. However price was 3000ars pp with a tent which is the most expensive we’ve paid in Argentina so far
Report Check-InVery windy on the to the pass gave us no other choice but to call an early(3pm) stop. We paid 1,500 ARS pp. Owner claimed there’s hot shower. Perhaps since there’s an electric hot water tank near the washroom. Water never got hot though. Fine for a night.
Report Check-InWe were looking for a place to stay in Puente del Inca after cycling up from Uspallata. "La vieja estacion" doesn't exist anymore and "El Refugio Nico" (only hospedaje here) was full. We were oriented to this camping place. It is an official one it seems. We were the only ones there. We paid 1000 ARS per person. The bathrooms seemed pretty new but looked as if they were not finished yet. We had only cold water in the shower. There are a few tables and an amazing view on the mountain.
