As described, perfect for the night, breakfast at the picnic tables in the morning sun 😆. And it's free for three nights in a row!!!
Report Check-Ina spacious 8 spot camp in town. Basic bathrooms, no showers but free for the first 2 nights then $15 each night after that. nice sunsets too!
Report Check-InWe tried to stay here. Registered at the little
box.
We didnt feel super safe here with the others staying here, but was willing to bear it out in the van. But around 8pm our site started smelling horrible - turns out we were right next to the sani dump. We saw some kids playing with it earlier so they mightve opened it - couldnt stand the smell even inside the van, so we moved to a different site half an hour away. Would recommend not picking the site near the dump & bathrooms if you stay here
Report Check-InWhat a cute Campground!!! 6 spots to park, with flush toilets, and a sanidump, right in Vulcan!
Report Check-InOnly a few sites, no services at the sites.
Dump station by toilets
Drinking water in the mens washrooms
No showers
Fir small to medium sized rigs
Must complete the registration form and call the administrator, as per thier instructions. This is a self regulating campground, 2 days free, then a fee applies.
Nice little campground with flat level sites. Some road noise and the occasional train. It a corner lot runs beside a main road into town but for a Thursday night it was not that busy. Washrooms were open and well kept. Nearby town offers groceries, restaurants and a fun visit to the Vulcan tourism and trek center. Live long and prosperous!
Report Check-InUpdate to previous post...it's now $15 nightly for stays longer than 3 nights. Running water toilets on site.
Report Check-InStayed one night. Stable flat sites. It was quiet although there is a railway nearby and we heard the occasional train whistle. Not a busy place when we camped on Saturday night. Was not charged for staying. No bathrooms.
Report Check-InAs others have said, a good place. We stayed 2 nights.
A busy corner but very little traffic between 10:00 and 7:00.
Walking / biking path linking the campground to the playgrounds, golf course, other campground, and downtown. Nice outdoor dining at the golf course. Good wifi at the library.
We hope to be back.
CBC at 100.1.
Report Check-InThis is a nice free campsite in Vulcan. Traffic can be heard at night. Was in tent. Good washrooms
Report Check-Inexcellent spot after camping. Traffic noise is ok but hey you are inside a town. Very clean.
Report Check-InToilets were locked, perhaps this is the case over winter. We were able to go into the nearby Curling/hockey stadium to use the bathroom on the Friday night and then again on Saturday morning, although I’m sure on another day we wouldn’t have been so lucky with it being open for us. Essentially a car park with a couple of trees. Good for a nights rest.
Report Check-InAs described. Great little place. There is also a $25 a night full service municipal campground in town.
