Latest Check-Ins

It took 1 day to make my visa. Victoria at the office is very kind and helpful. As I’m a cyclist they accepted to make a 6months visa and I paid 1500N$ as I’m not applying from my residency’s country (it should be 2500/3000N$ but they make a discount as I’m a cyclist).
Documents needed :
- Apply, pay (102$) and print the application on the website online https://visa.immigration.gov.ng/
- 2 photos
- letter explaining your trip with itinerary
- booking hostel
- bank statement from the last 3 months

Update: Papers needed as below, also we brought everything else incl. motivation letter, bank statements of last 3 months, travel route (google maps), hotel booking, travel insurance and police clearance for our car, so it took only 5 minutes at the embassy. BUT: they now charge Europeans 3.500 NAM$ pp on top of the 120 US$ you already paid online when applying on innovate1service! 😳

Updating: needed same documents as people posted below (have a US passport)

sounds like few people didn’t need these, but I did end up needing copy of travel insurance, purpose of travel letter (mine was 2 sentences), hotel booking (screenshot of a random booking.com place with checkin/checkout dates, but didn’t actually book) and an itinerary (just a screenshot of a few random places put on google maps)

At the end she told me the new processing fee for people applying outside their home country is N$2900. I asked for any proof and all she could show me was a message from who she claimed was her boss. I stated how I saw online the price was less, but after back and forth for a while I ended up paying it. Not sure if it was a scam or not, but she was nice for what it’s worth. All in all was about $315 for Americans ($160 online, ~$155 at the embassy).

Also had a good experience here, Victoria at the reception was very nice and kind.

We applied for the visa at 14:30 and Victoria called us 2 hours later to pick the passports

You need to:

- Fill the application form online at www.innovate1services.com (register first and the go to apply visa. In the form it asks for a contact person and an address in Nigeria, we just put the address and the contact of a random hotel in Lagos. You pay 93 (73+20) USD online);
- Print a copy of the form and the receipt to handle in the embassy
- Deliver 2 passport pictures;
- Write a letter explaining why you want to cross Nigeria (if you need a model, text us on Instagram @dechapaemchapa ).
- Copy of travel insurance;
- Marriage certificate(we don't why, but okay...) ;
- map with your intend route
- bank account statement (we just took one from our Revolut and it was fine)
- You also need to pay 2000 NAD/pp because you are applying for the visa outside from your residence country.
- They didn't ask us for a copy of the CPD.

They have a Transit visa which is 5 days, but we explained that we need more than that but cause of the road, so they gave us a 90 days tourist visa. 😂

Usually it takes 5 days, but we argued that we were already paying a lot of money, they clearly understood and issued it in the same day.

We did our visas for Congo, DRC and Nigeria in 4 days, this was the second one.

We decided to do this one on second place, because they close on Friday.
