Dirt parking lot for a couple trailheads at this wildlife refuge. Stayed overnight and was the only person parked when I arrived and when I left. There is an outdoor toilet but didn't check to see if it was locked or not. There are no "No Overnight Parking/Camping" signs, only signs to not park on the main road leading up to the parking lot. No patrols when I was there. Don't believe I had reliable cell service with T-Mobile.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
gate across the entrance road was closed upon arrival (10pm) so unable to spend the night.
Report Check-InWoodmarsh Trail parking area...level spot. Spent one very quiet night without any problems.
Report Check-InQuiet hidden spot. it's labeled lots 16 and 17. if you park back by the bathrooms you are hidden from the road. We were the only ones there and when we woke up on Saturday there were a few cars in the parking lot. Bathrooms were open and decently clean. Had bear proof trash and recycling bins. No one bothered us.
