Great campground with great access to the beach. $34 non-hookup site, $44 with hookups. We grabbed a first come first serve site easily at 4pm on a Friday.

Great location just down the road from Newport. FS campground with first come - first serve sites. Open view locations were pretty much all taken at 3:00 PM. Abundant locations up-hill in the trees though. $15.61 a night with senior pass discount! Some noise from US 101 in forest sites.

Nice clean bathrooms but didn’t see any showers.

All in all a good choice.

Report Check-In

Lots of noise from highway 101. Reasonable rates ($15.80/night) if you have the senior pass. Right on the ocean!

Price is way higher. $31.16 a night. Plus $8 for a bundle of 7 prices of wood. No dump station. Lots really small. Lucky we found one that fit our small trailer n truck. There is a senior discount. Manager and n site. Not really helpful. The reserve n non reserve are hard to figure out. A large garbage can over flowing with garage and stunk.
The beach has hard access but worth seeing.
It was very windy this day as well and raining the next.

great campsite! has a few first come first serve spots if you aren’t able to get a reservation. show up somewhat early though because it fills up fast!

$24 for the night. Quiet, clean restrooms and easy access to the beach. Wonderful stop here.

Great camping spot next to the water. Came on a weekday in April and had no problem picking between a few unoccupied sites. Cost was about $32 including tax. Firewood bundles are $7. They accept cash, check and credit cards.

Spot was a bit muddy from all the rain but we slept in the van anyway so it was all good.

Our spot did not have any hookups. Those were extra.

Driving down the coast and came across this location. We scored site 25 that overlooks the ocean. Nice and flat. No hookups.
Nothing it the sound of the ocean at night. Would stay again.

Had a wonderful rainy/windy stay here for Xmas eve & Xmas. Awesome ocean views and quiet times to celebrate. very few campers around now. Bathrooms very clean and well maintained. Excellent price w/park pass discount at $15.61 per night. They do sell firewood bundles too.

would be AMAZING for tents. hook up and water we paid $23 with discount pass. beautiful campground, lovely host and it was pretty much empty at time of writing. at&t signal was 1 bar and slow as hell but starlink worked excellently. no showers which is probably the downfall of the campsite.

Beachside sites are beside each other... little privacy, but the sound of the surf is amazing! Can't go wrong with a FS campground. Paid $15.61 with senior discount for a non-electric site. FCFS at this time of year and plenty of spaces on a Friday night.

Arrived at 10:30 am on a Friday without a reservation. We were 3rd in line for only one departure in the first come sites. The host was kind enough to let us park our van overnight in the overflow day use lot for the day use fee of $7. Dog friendly beach access on 6 foot leash. 2bars Verizon LTE with cell booster but gets unusable during high usage times like evenings. Water available with own hose at the camp host site and hookup sites. Container fill stations throughout. Flush toilets if you need that. No showers.

Nice campground. The prices are a bit more expensive 26$USD.

very nice campground. stop at the self registration board. the camp host writes on a white board which sites are available, then take a sheet with the map of where the sites are. on the back it will tell how long they are and if they are back in or pull thru, if they have electric & water, and the rates. host was very friendly and helpful. great access to the beach. picnic tables and fire rings. we paid $13 for no hookups with a senior pass. no showers, but there are 3 restrooms spread around the camp. potable water is available at a spigot if you need it.
